I went to this location for the first time to get some help with my ATM card. The service was helpful and friendly and they helped get my card to work correctly. This location has a nice waiting area with nice furniture and a large lobby. They have a large globe that slowly turns and I thought was fascinating to look at different parts of the world while I was waiting. I would recommend this location.

Very disappointed. My family has banked here for years. My disabled brother finally got a settlement after loosing his foot. He’s been a customer for nearly 20 years. They made it very clear that they do not believe that this is a real check. At first they said it would take a few days to clear, and that is understandable. But it has been over a week and now they put a hold on it. Like I said my brother is disabled, his communication skills are lacking and they have taken full advantage. They put a hold on his money and told him to come back after the weekend. If it was a fake check it would not clear, am I wrong? These people are being disparaging and letting this disabled man’s appearance and lack of communication fog their judgment.

Never had any issues here everyone has always been nice and gone out of their way to provide great service. I'm not that time consuming so perhaps some of the other raters had more complex issues? Much better than Bank of America who in constantly just had bogus fees and charges pop up.

I do not recommend banking at this location. I had a really bad experience a few months ago with the bank teller Linda & also their manager Azar. They are completely unprofessional and extremely rude to their customers. I receive the same large check each month from a regular customer and they told me that they had to put a hold on my check. When I tried to explain that other locations do not put a hold on my check once they look into my account. The manager told me they were in the wrong. They refused to even look into my account and told me that I could go to a different location. After seeing their yelp reviews I'm glad I wasn't the only one treated this poorly. Customer service is everything and this location needs to work on their skills. I will never go back and I am questioning if I should switch banks.

The Westcliff branch really has the best employees! Their customer service is like it used to be when you were greeted by name & made to feel important! I had an issue with my cc card getting compromised and when I called, Genesis was so helpful. She told me to come in if I could and she would help me with the claims department and issue me a new card. When I got there she had my info pulled up on her computer and she literally took care of everything including typing out my statement letter and printing out my most current charges so I could go through them. I am a business owner and very busy! She took what would have taken me hours to do which gave me peace of mind! Everyone there is so personable & helpful and I will always bank here!

Union Bank is by far the worst Mortgage Lender in the industry. They do not process their files timely nor do they respond to status inquiries. Their lack of response is costing us thousands and thousands of dollars not to mention unnecessary undue stress and mental anguish. We have tried to contact everyone from the loan processor, VP of Underwriting all the way up to the heads of their mortgage lending division Mark Angel, Leigh Kanapka and Adam Liebross - they have not even acknowledged the inquiries. Their customer service is horrific before and after the transaction. We are currently in escrow on a home and Union Bank is the lender, we've had to risk $50,000 in earnest money in hopes that Union Bank will perform. I can promise you that this situation will not go away if they fail to perform. I am sending all of this information to NBC and Fox News in the Los Angeles area for their consumer watch groups. Additionally, we reporting this to the California Bureau of Real Estate, California Department of Business Oversight, Department of Housing and Urban Affairs, Better Business Bureau and all Federal Lender Agencies (FannieMae, FreddiMac, etc.) We are also seeking out an attorney for representation for any financial, emotional and punitive loss due to Union Bank's lack of performance and breach of fiduciary responsibilities either as an individual action or a Group Direct Action matter. Someone needs to hold this bank accountable for their actions or lack thereof.

Union Bank is one of the worst banks when it comes to serving their customers. I went to work for a company without direct deposit at the beginning of the year. Since then, my paycheck is held every pay day...sometimes up to 7 days. Nothing changes even though they said after a few deposits it would change! Really? So wrong. Working on stopping my auto withdrawals...then I'm changing banks.

Can't believe I'm writing a review for a bank, but in this case I have to say something. The Westcliff branch of Union Bank has a teller named Justin who is about the most capable, friendly, customer-oriented bank employee I've ever come across. He should be promoted to manager of this branch.

All banks are inherently evil, However a necessary evil in this day and age. I somehow feel union bank is less evil than others. While everyone seems to be nice, justin is by far the friendliest teller here. I came here after telling chase to go f*** themselves! Im much happier here than I ever was at chase. Not a lot of locations though.

Branch Manager, Azar Nooryzaveh would not remove hold on my check, that I deposit on regular basis. I have been banking with them for over 5 years. All other managers approved it all the time. This is second time she makes an issue for me regarding my check. You will have issue banking here with this kind (attitude) manager. Do not bank here with this manager, you will have only headache.

The staff is always friendly despite an overall dry feeling at The Westcliff branch. Still, I would never bank anywhere else long term.

I refuse to do business with banks who are in the business of ripping off it's customers. Union Bank is no different than Bank of America! 1. The online banking is inaccurate. When I checked my balance on Monday, I had a negative balance of $106. By Tuesday, I was in the negative $472. 2. They process the smallest amounts last - NOT BY THE DATE YOU SPENT THE MONEY - causing me to incur excessive fees in the amount of $328. I was charged overdraft fees for items that I paid from $28 - $2, even though they were not the items that put me over. 3. When I went into the branch to make a deposit with my payroll check, I was scrutinized about the date on the check. (My employer gave me the check a few days early to help me out...) NOTE: In over a year at that bank, I have NEVER been questioned about the dates on my pay checks. I get paid on the 15th and the 30th, so my pay date often falls on the weekend. I have, on numerous occasions, gotten paid a day or two before pay day and deposited my checks in advanced, with no problem. 4. I was sent away from the bank with my check, and I ended up incurring an additional $80 in fees. 5. When I returned with the check ONE DAY BEFORE MY PAY DATE, I was again scrutinized (by the same teller) about it being early. Then I was insulted and told that she would make the deposit this time "since I really need it". To make matters worse, she deposited the check with a hold, which did not stop the daily $6 overdraft fee! 2nd Note: This same teller convinced me to open a savings account to prevent having excessive overdraft fees. I was told by her that if I open a savings account, the bank would only cover what was in my savings (NOT TRUE). No one ever mentioned to me that I would be charged $10 every time the bank transferred money from my savings to my checking for overdraft protection. I will not become impoverished while banks screw me over any longer!!!
