I want to like this place, but 2 out of 3 haircuts I’ve gotten here were really bad. I like the older gentleman, he understood my unconventional haircut idea and had some fun stories. The new woman stylist did NOT listen to me at all. My last haircut she wasn’t even looking at me when I tried to explain what I wanted, I should have known then. I wanted less layers and she literally gave me a shag/wolf cut. I continue to get more angry about that as I hate my hair every day.

Every time I have gone to this salon, I have had a great stylist to dye and cut my hair.
Minerva most recently dyed my hair and it also came out so nicely. She took the time to explain the process and answered all of my questions with her expertise. I’m glad to have a place I can count on to get the style I want! Thank you

I don’t know why but I went in the first time and my hair ended up yellow rather than blonde balayage and Then I came in to get it fixed, and my hair was almost back to my original brown color When I showed them like four blonde pictures. i’ll let these photos speak for themselves. i’m not one to post reviews, but i don’t want this to happen to anyone else. this happened about a year ago, and my hair hasn’t fully healed or regained its texture since. i had to pay double to get it fixed and they repeatedly refused me a refund, just don’t. this was a balyage touch up with some lowlights several weeks after a color correction. i was in the salon for 8 hours, had expressed my dissatisfaction, and was told they could tone it for me later and to never do anything to my hair ever ever again. i added a photo of my hair now for reference.

I have had the pleasure and privilege of working with Paul for almost a year. I have severe body dysmorphia so I can’t look in the mirror or even see my face reflected without experiencing a panic attack.
Paul is so sweet and accommodating. He has been so supportive and kind I can’t imagine anyone but him touching my hair.
Everyone else is very warm, friendly and eager to make sure everyone has a special experience. I have so much respect for Paul as a person and as an hair stylist.
I hope to be Paul’s client for many decades but he has this gift of making you feel like the only person in the world. Paul is honest, humble, heart forward and very knowledgeable about everything to do with his clients.
He would never ask me to write a review because of how sweet he is but I love him, his work and his peers so much it would haunt me forever if I didn’t take a moment to fan girl out.
For anyone looking for a chill, cool, salon experience look no further because you have found the spot.

They cut hair by gender and not by length so if your nonbinary with short hair (like a men's cut) but people assume ur a woman know you'll be charged $85 vs $35 for short men's style hair cut. I did however get my hair washed before hand but it seems weird if the wash+shampoo was the $50 difference for the service....
Anyhow, the quality of care and hairstyle at the end is perfectly fine and wonderful. Just not sure about being charged for my perceived gender anymore 😅.

I really like this place. Mick was very accommodating, helpful and honest when I called and asked a few questions. I went in for color and Cyn (short for Cynthia) was my colorist. She did an excellent job and I couldn't be happier.

I'm so excited Vincent is now at Noho Hair Salon! I've been a client of his for many years. I first met him at the famed Haas Salon on Larchmont. He subsequently bought the salon when the original owner retired and transformed it into a modern chic salon while keeping the longtime classic vibe and attending to all its loyal customers. I'm in North Hollywood regularly for yoga so it's a perfect location for me and easy to get to from Beachwood/Bronson Canyon. Vincent has been transforming my hair for years always sophisticated and current. I trust him to do his magic on me. My BF always loves it and loves Vincent for keeping me looking great! The balayage he gave me last week was no exception. It was fabulous!!! Anyway just a thank you to Vincent for introducing me to the salon and continuing to do his magic!!!!

I was inquiring about a curly dry cut and Vincent who answered the phone was so obnoxious! He told me he’s the only one that does it in the salon, he used to own his own n now been working at this place for a month. But he only wants to do curly haircuts on wet hair. I just told him every experience I’ve had, I never really truly liked the cut and he said oh don’t mind your experiences this is very different, he says he knows ‘curl language’ as he put it. He told me he would diffuse my hair dry in which I replied I like to leave w my hair damp bc I don’t like my hair ‘styled’ at a salon, it always looks off to me and I end up washing my hair right away.
He snapped back ‘oh u know that’s not good for the curl right??’ I said well that’s how I like my curl, dried naturally. He says’ sounds like u want to control everything’ I said yes I’m a paying customer. I know what I like and what I don’t, I have over 40 years of experience visiting hair salons! Then he said well I can give u a dry cut if that’s what u want! Lmao no dude you’re not touching my hair. So pompous and rude, actually arguing with a grown woman about how I should change my routine completely without meeting me! Ugh
