If I could give 0 stars I would! This place is absolutely rude and dirty. I came in to buy my snacks and the cashier was absolutely disrespectful. The cashier had also proceeded to "make up" prices on items without my knowledge. Once I saw the charges and questioned him he had nothing to say. I had to have him change it. Horrible customer service. Wouldn't stop by this particular store if it was last 7-Eleven to go to.

I don't know... Standard 7-11. it's conveniently located in the middle of the lake, parks and city. Good to grab a beer if you're on the way to the lake. The people that hang outside and ask you for money is always tough. Some ask you for beer, or money, or food. It's hard to say no and I don't have a lot of cash, so I just feel like an a******* It's not really 7-Eleven's problem though. The store can't "make" them leave. It's tricky, I genuinely respect the police, the reality is: Oakland police does not or cannot really respond to much non-violent calls for help. So there's no help for the people, no help for 7-Eleven. Can't hold that against them. What does bother me is the people who work here never, never really wear masks; most customers don't wear them either. Or if they are wearing them, they are around their neck and not even on the face. I don't mean just "sometimes." They basically don't wear them at all. At first I thought it was a fluke, but the last several times I've been inside, same thing. They just don't care or maybe just don't understand (1) it's the law, and (2) it's moral. If you don't care about my neighborhood, I won't support your business. I hate wearing the stupid mask too, but we all gotta' wear them. So unfortunately no more last min lake beer for me for a while.

The way the employees talk to kids and the homeless is crazy they get real reckless talking to people they feel are below them. I walked in today and an elderly homeless woman was getting coffee she forgot to close the spout so the coffee would stop the cashier instantly started screaming at her ran from around the counter to yell at her and talk s*** to her at this point I had enough and I started yelling at the man because no matter what that's someone's daughter sister mama anything she was well above 70 years of age. The employee then starts to tell me who's going to clean it up? I then told him it's his job to clean up what customers mess up. He told me it's not hmmmm.. so what is your job mr cashier? I'm sure your family owns this location but it doesn't give you the right to talk crazy to people. And as far as the kids they talk crazy too my son is one he goes in to grab snacks for school and pizza and stuff for lunch they yell at him and his friends like they are about to steal stuff but my son clearly pays every time I see the transactions on my card they follow them around the store they tell them they stole stuff but never have any proof they did. Nor has the police found anything on them other then what they purchased. Now they go to the grocery store across the street because this place is horrible.

Someone close to this location sprained their ankle so I went here to get some ice. The people were super duper awesome and made a makeshift ice-pack out of a plastic bag. 12/10 - definitely helped someone out!

love the convenience, but hate the store. definitely one of the worst 7-11s i've been to in Oakland. workers are consistently rude and profile customers. i've been coming here for years, yet most will berate and accuse me of stealing. there is one guy who is consistently kind to me and another who is respectful but the rest yell and speak to me like i'm a dog. they love to overcharge (as mentioned in previous reviews). watch your receipts. avoid late nights. it gets out of hand (drunken fights, patrons threatening another patrons, aggressive panhandling) and staff does little to nothing to keep patrons safe. i kinda wish they'd close this location because it's poorly managed and a blight on the neighborhood. spend your $$$ elsewhere.

This location is excellent for pre-packaged snacks and drinks, but severely lacks in their inventory of warm foods and fresh goods. I come here for Slurpees and sodas on a regular basis, but tend to not buy hot roller items and pastries that often, and not because they aren't reasonably priced or tasty, but because they never seem to have anything available; at any one time they usually only have 1-3 hot dogs warm and never seem to have any cheese or chili on hand for nachos.

Quick stop in to pick up another tea. Since I've stopped drinking coffee I drink tea a majority of the day. Never a problem at this location always friendly older gentlemen or a younger male. They have everything except a restroom

Watch your back here! You have to check prices against an itemized receipt or they will steal from you! If I could give zero stars or -8 I would because over 15 years they have robbed me many times and when I checked I usually discovered their "errors" which are systematically taking extra money from you each time.Usually if you point it out they will correct it while playing naí¯ve, which they blame on something or someone else but that just makes it clear that they are excepting responsibility for it and since it never changes clearly it is their MO (modus operandi), their mode of operation. Create a bad yelp review and show it to them if you ever bother going back but use yelp to inform others! Strength in numbers, power to the people, let your voice be heard... If you appreciate and/or agree with this review let me know

probably the best place where you can get food quickly and no need to stand in lines for too long like whole foods. staff was good as they always have smile while helping customers and store looks clean and there was sufficient parking too, that helps me alot.

I came in at 5:45 am. There were no hot breakfast sandwiches available. There were dozens of taquitos and hot dogs (not exactly what most people would want to eat at 5:45 in the morning) ready to eat. At any other 7-eleven you can grab a cold breakfast sandwich and cook it yourself in a dirty microwave. At this location there isn't a publicly available microwave to use. The worker was rude and the place is sketchy.

Prince and the whole family are quite possibly the most friendly and attentive owners of a convenience store I've encountered. They know my habits, engage with my son, and are always visibly excited to see us. With what they probably have to deal with on a daily basis (see other reviews), their demeanor is admirable.
