Bruce has been sharpening my shears for the past 7 years! He does an excellent job at keeping my shears sharp and in good shape! I only trust him with my shears. I love that I get my shears in 30-40 minutes unlike other companies that take weeks to get your shears back. I’ve also purchased sensei swivel shears from him and they are my favorite! Thank you Bruce for your amazing service all these years.

I've been using Howers sharpening exclusively since I first became a pet groomer. Bruce is great with repairs and honest enough to tell me when something is no longer worth fixing and just needs to be replaced.

Amazing service and trustworthy! I'm a newer groomer and my two shears that I thought needed sharpening just needed to be adjusted and lubricated. After using countless people who claim to be scissor sharpeners, and having multiple sets of scissors ruined throughout the years , I FOUND HOWER SHARPING, Bruce is the most trust worthy and honest sharpener in the hair industry. His skills as a sharpener are unmatched there is nobody that even comes close to what he is capable of.

I cannot recommend Hower's Sharpening Services enough! Bruce is serious about excellent quality and exceptional customer service. Knowing him personally I can speak to the fact that he is knowledgeable and truly passionate about his craft.
Work wise, he sharpened my mother's knives. Knives she was ready to toss, convinced they were beyond saving. But Bruce worked his magic, and they came back ready and sharper than they ever were! lol My mom was very happy with his work.
I also purchased two knives for myself, and Bruce ensured I chose the ones that were perfect for my needs.

Thank you to Bruce Hower and Hower's Sharpening for getting all my knives ready for a busy week at the Salvation Army , every year Bruce comes to my house twice and takes excellent care of all my knives and this year he knew i was a volunteer at the Sakvation Army kitchen so he donated 4 new knives to their kitchen, thank you brother, it's people like you that help me do what I do. Hower communicated with me on Yelp and was very responsive. He gave me a quote and the prices were reasonable - currently at $8 flat rate. I felt like he did great work! He tested the knife's sharpness by cutting through paper. We are very satisfied customers!

Bruce is very professional. He is a master of his craft. My blades and shears are sharpened, cleaned, and oiled beautifully every time. My knives easily slice right through a tomato. He is also very friendly. 10 out of 10!

Called with a last minute "emergency" request to sharpen our knives just before thanksgiving. He went out of his way to find a time that worked for both of us and did a great job on our knives at a good price.

Spoke with the owner via Yelp and they were very responsive. Took care of a nice Japanese knife I had and resharpened some knives I bought at Costco the sharpening was top notch and me and my wife are enjoying prepping and cooking again. Thank you.
