Nice place right by the beach. The condo was clean. The unit had its own hot tub on a private deck. Nice kitchen with all the expected utensils, pots and pans. The staff was professional and friendly. I would stay here again.

The pictures don't do it justice. Call me easy to please but this place was exactly what the doctor called for in everyway when, you think in terms of a beach vacation with your family of 5. Price , location, the service from staff being great as well.

Amazing place. Have a WHOLE HOUSE. Lovely place. Full kitchen, little balcony, outside sitting room. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub, less than a block from the beach. So comfortable and really lovely. Great service. Bikes to borrow, little clubhouse. Great place. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll come back.
Rooms: It's a whole house. Lovely bedroom with loft with two more beds
Nearby activities: Lovely walking/biking park within easy walking distance
Walkability: Less than a block from the beach

After staying in Mandalay shores resorts here in Oxnard, we will never ,ever rent a hotel as long as this place is here, I'm a Oxnard native and gave been traveling back and forth from San francisco last 20 years and you can't beat the great price,place is clean,right across from beach,there's a heated pool and Jacuzzi also...our place was cute and very comfy first bathroom & shower is on the first floor,easy to jump in and shower when your coming in from beach and not track any sand in,second floor was the master bedroom 2nd bathroom,kitchen and living room,with all the things you need to cook,3rd floor great for kids it's a open loft with 2 beds,tv and fireplace,and your own personal garage that you can drive into and enter house and close behind you..I extended my stay twice,just didn't want to leave, can't wait till I can go back and visit again,thank you for a wonderful vacation Mandalay shores!!

Rooms: Rooms were spacious but the units need updating/remodeling!
Safety: Definitely felt safe in the community of beautiful beach homes!
Walkability: Love the location!!! Half a Block from the beach and so close to a great park with great bike trails!

I love this place. It is our third time staying in this beautiful resort. Totally recommend for family with kids. Very comfortable for family 6 people.Nearby activities: Ocean view, kids play ground, basketball , volleyball zone. You can rent bikes for your self or for group rides.Safety: Quite areaWalkability: In 5 min walk big park with huge kids playground, restrooms, volleyball courts, picnic tables and many more to do.

I had the blessing to stay in one of the few bottom-floor oceanfront suites. The service was a tad snobby as I don't look the part as far as being able to afford to stay in such a room as that; however it should not matter what I look like, the point is my cash is good, and my card clears. There was also an evening gathering where we were given complimentary drinks, which is always lovely and was able to mingle with other guests and got to know the guests next door to us and we are still friends to this day. It is a fantastic place to stay. It is expensive, especially if you're staying in the oceanfront rooms, because your balcony is the ocean. Mandalay Shores Resort rents beachfront condos in beautiful Southern California. The condo has an attached garage, kitchen, and room for six adults. We spent our 29th anniversary here along with family. This is the perfect place to bring friends and family for the weekend or even an entire week. Perfect weather and close to restaurants and shopping make this a perfect getaway.
