My partner and I have lived in PG for about 4 years now and frequently walk downtown on the weekends. I have been in this shop a handful of times but have never experienced the poor customer service (or complete lack of) like I did today. We walked into the store around 1:30 and were the only customers inside. We were not greeted (I don't expect a lot of conversation while I shop and prefer to do so independently but a simple "hello" seems like a common curtesy), but not the end of the world. We spend about 5 minutes in the store and started looking at wind chimes which was the main reason we stopped in. I have been at home a lot spending time healing in our backyard after my heart surgery so we were hoping to purchase a wind chime for some extra healing energy. Once we began looking at the wind chimes she finally acknowledged our presence and asked which wind chime I was looking for. I responded with the items 4 digit store number code on the tag and she rudely responded "I know how to look for them". If she knows how to look for them then why ask me which one I'm looking for? Confused and shocked by her extremely abrupt and rude response I said "the green one". Assuming this could be the "right" answer? At this point I knew I was not going to be spending my money here. Disappointing as we always chose to support locally when possible. Won't be back.

We were browsing stores on Lighthouse Avenue and were attracted by the wind chimes displayed outside Artisana Gallery, so we went inside. With the help of a friendly staff person, we found just what were seeking, a reasonably priced set of wind chimes in the right pitch range. There is a large selection of great sounding wind chimes. We got the Corinthian Bells 30" (color Plum), which have a delightful tone.

Super fun shop with friendly staff. Expanded art room is cool. Unfortunately, I can never stay long because the incense and oils are so strong I get a headache. I still love to buy Christmas gifts there every year.

I give this store 5 stars as it deserves nothing less. I love everything about Artisana Gallery- the atmosphere, it's display of items-so many beautiful things to be seen. including the nicest chimes, one could find. Lovelyjewelry and, so many more items, that would make a relative, friend oracquaintance very happy. I think it is the perfect store for resident, or tourist.and is one of the 'Gems' in Pacific Grove's crown. Kudos to the owners, fora store that compliments our town and, gives pleasure to that shopper, whosteps inside it's door.

On a girls' trip with my mom, sister and daughter, we decided to do a little shopping while in Pacific Grove. This shop was amazing with a wide assortment of art from local artists as well as beautiful jewelry and souvenirs. I purchased a pretty watercolor of the local lighthouse as well as some souvenirs. The two women who run the shop were friendly and knowledgeable. If you want some beautiful local art and great conversation, you should stop in!
