I had to get some slippers. .customer service was outstanding. . .they have a good range of shoes and slippers for kids adults male women.I would give this place six stars just based off the two customer service reps that were very attentive very welcoming but 100 not fake!

Had a lovely trip to Carmel and Monterey except for the moment when I stepped in dog p*** and had to dump the only sneakers I brought on the trip. Luckily we found this store not too far from where we were staying. Friendly staff. Come on people of Monterey, clean up after your dogs!

I called the store where I purchased six pairs of shoes from while vacation in Monterey, the manager Carlos answered and I asked him what I can do about one pair of the shoes that I bought not fitting correctly. I had asked the store associate for a 10 1/2 when purchasing and it turns out she gave me a 10 which felt fine in store for a little while but after wearing for a few minutes outside of the store, I realize they hurt my feet and that she actually gave me a 10. He proceeds to tell me that there’s nothing that he can do because I wore them for about three minutes outside of the store, didn’t offer any type of other solution that was it, point blank. Since the end of June, June 20th to exact I have bought 10 pairs of shoes online and in store with Famous Footwear(in three weeks!) and they weren’t even willing to go that extra mile to try to help me out or see what else he can possibly do to correct the situation, so I politely asked for corporate‘s number so I can follow up with them, Carlos rudely hangs up with me after I think him for his time. This is no way to do customer service, the guy can barely form sentence. It’s a shame that Famous Footwear call this type of employee a “manager.” Maybe they should promote the young lady who was in the store helping us and assisting us to buy the shoes as she was amazing and her customer service skills were on point. Needless to say, will take our business elsewhere where we are appreciated and can take back an item that doesn’t work for us especially an item that we spend our hard earned money on. There’s a lot of competition out there, step up your game.———————————————UPDATE: I called a local store and they gladly and willingly helped me out, they were so apologetic and nice about the whole situation. Carlos He check that my shoes were size 9 and when I got home never say 11 I would never recommend nobody to this store here I hate it so much I talk to talk to the manager and she assumed that she was busy this can not be happening they need to cross train their employees to make sure that they're honest and to make sure the Box matches whatever the shoe is inside I'm a really upset customer I never had this happen before I do not recommend you to come to the store ever

My husband came looking for a work shoe that would accomodate his inserts. The clerk was very helpful. She found just what we needed quickly & we were done.

Their shoe selection is not the biggest but it is the best in this area besides driving to the Gilroy outlets.

Nice assortment of shoes. The one person on staff when I was there was extremely helpful. Not the nicest looking store, kind of feels like you are shopping in a basement. Overall thought not a bad place to get shoes.
