So very disappointed in this salon. I went there in good faith to get my hair ready for a straightening treatment after lightening it last May. I saw a first hairdresser for 3+ months -- he was very nice and I really had great chats with him -- but he ended up having to process it more than I hoped after missing some brassy spots during the first service. With each appointment, it became drier and drier, looking and feeling like straw and the cut was *not* right (more choppy than anything). I asked if the owner (who does the straightening treatments) might be able to help and saw him twice as well, only to have him do another weird cut (probably trying to remove damage) and a conditioning treatment. Needless to say, more than $1200+ later, these photos show what my hair looked like. I asked the owner to please come up with a plan to help repair it since I've been so embarrassed, I've been wearing hats almost every day. He said he would talk to the original hairdresser and call me to update with a plan. He never called, so I went in and he said the original hairdresser was supposed to call me. He did the next day and instead of even a slight apology, he told me how upset he was that I was "accusing him of ruining my hair" and that I should "go elsewhere." I reached back out to the owner -- no response. Wow! So disappointed! $1200+ later and not even a shred of an apology! Thankfully, I found someone who knew how to deal with all the damage Heads Up caused and my hair is back on track to feeling and looking healthy. How terrible it was to be treated so poorly by Heads Up after trusting them to do the right thing and even recommending them to friends! I feel as if maybe they should stick to simple men's cuts and not much more. These images show the damage after going to this salon for three months.

Wonderful place! Each stylist has their own suite, as does Manicurist. Jorge is a terrific stylist. He has expertly cut and styled my sister's hair and did a perfect wash and blow dry for me. We're sold

George is my favorite, I have been having him cut my hair for years, finally took the the plunge and highlighted my hair. I am a natural blonde who always did the "box" to color my roots but my hair was starting to look "mousy" so I called George and made an apt to color it professionally. After an initial consultation with George, I told him I trusted him and do what he thinks is best for me. OMG the finished look is beautiful, I get so many compliments!!

I only get two Palm springs every 6 months. It's hard to find a good stylist. Paul listened intently to everything I wanted in a hair cut. What I thought would have been complicated. He made it streamline simple. Most beautiful cut I've had in quite some time. It was quiet and comfortable and I'll see him the next time I'm in town.

Just wanted to give my new friend and forever desert hairdresser Joanna a huge rave review for the amazing job she did with my hair! The cut, colour, high lites, everything including blow out and style were perfect. I am a young 72 and like an edgy look and vibe ( I am a grandma but don't exactly want to have a grandma do) and Joanna got me and interpreted what I was looking for with some photos I brought into a perfect look for me. She also color corrected my hair from previous salon visit , vastly improving the colour which wasn't right on me, using her expertise and experience and got it on the money. First time I got complements on my hair in a long time after I left there. And on top of it all she is a totally cool, funny , and lovely lady that I was totally relaxed with. Her little studio was perfectly comfy, cute and I loved the decor which she made her own, also very private which I liked. Last but not least, her prices were totally in the ballpark reasonable for what you pay these days, and I felt I finally got my moneys worth for what she charged (which I haven't experienced in a long time.) Thanks for everything Jo, I shall always return to you my friend!

They are conveniently located on Ramon. In a former home, each client ends up in their room.Jorge took significant time to make sure my curly hair was very manageable in a short haircut.

Best hair salon in the valley in my opinion. Paul has been cutting my hair for well over 20 years and probably 30. Everyone is very friendly and kind. George is also fantastic!
