As I walked in, no one welcomed or gave a greeting. Talk about being profiled for my looks. From what it looks like, they only like women with luxurious clothing and full wallets.There was one young Lady by the name Vanessa, who did approach me after 7 minutes walking around and asked if I needed help- gotta give it to her, she made an effort on her sales pitch but because she looked new herself, I literally told her good luck.. The store has a very judgemental negative vibe and horrible customer service.

I am very thankful for this store. During Covid things were very tough for retail and I am so happy Chico's has been able to maintain this location. I have many Chico's pieces and have always felt good wearing them. Staff is always ready to help so I don't understand prior poor reviews. Chico's is my go to store when I want to purchase clothes.

Don’t bother, the staff didn’t acknowledge me at all until I was ready to walk out. I literally browsed the entire store and they chatted among themselves.

I've worn and enjoyed Chico's clothing for years but am upset with the new design on some of my favorite pants. Jeggings (platinum jeggings, so soft and comfortable and classy looking) are now made without zippers. This is upsetting to some of us gals that have larger hips which makes the no-zip design VERY difficult to get on and off. I'll now have to go elsewhere to find my pants and I've never found any I enjoy as much as Chicos. Can you please bring back more pant designs that have zippers? An unhappy and almost former customer.

This is a general review for the company not this specific store necessarily. Chico's customer service S u. c.k.s. Not in store, those are great where I am. I mean if you have a problem, too bad. I received an order totally different than what I ordered. Even the packing list says the correct item I ordered. I emailed - no response, even an automated acknowledgment one after 3 days and a follow up at 4th day... Called: that's a joke. After being on hold to speak to anyone at the 30 min mark I moved on to other things I had to do. They need some serious hiring in their customer service department. Higher than usual call volume is always the case. Higher volume means = you need to hire higher than usual staffing. If you make mistakes, you need to hire enough t accordingly to fix them. This company does well enough that it can afford to.

Terrible customer service. I used to work for Chico's back in the late 90's in SoCal. We always greeted customers when they walked in and offered help. The woman by the door didn't bother to even look up. The other behind the register was new but was friendly only after I spoke to her. I have spent a lot at Chico's and very likely would have been open to some new spring outfits with a courteous salesperson. I had some things in my hand for a while to try on but had to ask where the fitting room was. I see the other reviews here so clearly this is an issue for this store. Too bad. 4/6 These automatic responses are almost as insulting as the bad treatment your customers receive at this store. It's clear that there are some serious issues here based on these bad reviews. Instead of putting the burden on the customers to call an 888 number and talk to a phone representative why don't you hire people who want to be there and know how to be pleasant and helpful!

I was at the store on Saturday 1/22/2022. Afternoon. I just want to say that the manager is very rude! I asked one of the employees a question, she was very nice helping me find the shirt I needed. The manager walked by and told her in a bossy tone, there are people walking to the register.. go help them! She did not ask her to go help when done with us, she did not help them herself, she did not even offer to take over. She just told her to leave and go help the others!! When we were at the register, I asked if I can return or exchange a sweater I bought 2 days ago because the size was too large. The manager, again, was walking by us simply said: nope, cannot do that, and kept on walking!!! The employee told me it was a final say. I said that I did not know you cannot return or exchange, no one told me. Of course the manager walk by again and says you cannot do that!! And keeps on walking! I do not know what the manager's problem is but for sure she is not fit to service customers. We tried our best to smile and be nice but her attitude and facial expression were just bad! Will not go to this store again.

Shame on Chico's at their Palo Alto store. Shopped Chico's for easily 25 years Along with many friends and family. My daughter sent me a beautiful Soma set of pajamas she bought at her Marietta Georgia store for my 75th birthday but I needed to exchange for a different size. Looked online where to exchange and verified their exchange policy and referred me to Palo Alto in stock. Drove to Palo Alto. Manager said "If it was NOT bought here CAN'T exchange!" I was stunned! Contacted Corporate who is forwarding to management As this was totally against their exchange policy. put another call into manager the next day promised to call me back in 10 minutes to resolve and never heard back. Don't shop here.

This is not my favorite Chico's. They don't carry petites, which is what my step-mom needs, so, although she loves to shop here, it is really hard to find things that fit. I also prefer the tall/long pant length and they often try to convince me that the shorter pants leg style is cute and works. It seems like they are trying to sell a one size fits all concept on the length of their clothes, at least in the store. Shorter folks get the fuller length and taller folks get crop pants. I'd rather get what actually fits and looks good to me by ordering on the company's website than shop at this store. Still, on occasion, we find some treasures here.

Chico's 2019-11-27 1/5 Canceled Item and Didn't refund shipping "(05:28:47 PM) (ME) said : I'm still waiting for the Balsam Cedar Reed Diffuser (05:30:33 PM) (Jacob) said : I do apologize, that item has been canceled from the order due to it selling out during processing. (05:32:29 PM) ( ME) said : I see (05:33:33 PM) (ME) said : I checked out the order because I wanted the diffuser , the socks were a filler item . Is there a way I can return the socks and get a refund for the shipping I paid? (05:36:01 PM) (Jacob) said : As long as the socks are unwashed we can take them back, We charge a $7 fee for returns that are mailed back to us. We are unable to refund the shipping since items have already shipped. (05:37:38 PM) (ME) said : Yea, I get that, but you guys didn't send me one of the items I have ordered. I technically paid that shipping for 3 items and only got 2. and the item was was half the amount of the order didnt even get shipped (05:41:19 PM) (Jacob) said : I do apologize for any inconvenience that this causes you, since the shipping has been fulfilled we are unable to refund it. I can add a $10 discount to your next order when you call into customer service for the inconvenience. (05:43:54 PM) (Jacob) said : Due to no response, I will be ending this chat. Should you need further assistance, please feel free to initiate a new chat. Thank you for chatting with Chico's. I understand your just doing your job. But you have to see it from my perspective. I didn't even want the socks , the socks were a filler item for the discount. I wanted the diffuser. There's no other diffuser on your website at the moment so I can't even purchase another one. Also, why would you thinking I would even think about buying multiple items from your site at the same checkout again when you could cancel part of the order and I'm still stuck paying shipping ? Doesn't really make sense does it?"
