Good service but pho lacks the taste that other nearby places have. Good quantity for the price. Great location.

They are charging more from the prices on the menu. When asked about it's gotten the rude response there is nothing they can do about it. It is strange that they cannot change the pricing on their menus if they decide to raise. It seems very shady.

This place is so messed up. The food itself is fine. But I would give negative stars if I could. They have a little stand outside with their menu and prices on it; we looked at it and it looked good so we decided to eat there. Inside at the cash register, where you actually order, is the exact same menu except the prices are higher for their first five menu items-all their most popular pho noodle dishes. If you know pho places, the first five menu items make up a HUGE amount of any pho places' sales. They literally just taped small pieces of paper over the prices, only on the menu by the register, with higher prices. I don't even mind paying it, it's just so offensive and shady. I would join a picket sign protest outside this restaurant. Wish I took pictures to attach here.

Sandwiches are decent, but bread didn't seem very fresh. Our food was barely warm. We placed our order online & when we got home noticed that we were missing an order of wontons. When we called they told us they only saw "1" on the order even though it clearly reflected 2. Refused to give us a refund for the missing item & we were told that the manager wasn't available. With so many other options available on University Ave we won't be coming back.

Perfect little hole in the wall Vietnamese place in the heart of University Avenue. I've walked right by it so many times but I've never really noticed it. Thanks to the new covid friendly expanded outdoor seating it caught my eye. The menu was straightforward Vietnamese and by Palo Alto standards very affordably priced. It was a no brainer to order the Seafood Pho and my husband ordered a Chicken rice plate. The Seafood Pho was on point. The broth was amazing and perfectly mildly spiced - not the usual bland broth into which spice is added to the individual's taste. There was a good variety of seafood in it - fish, shrimp, calamari and scallop - all were fresh and yummy. I especially loved the calamari. Every mouthful of the hot chicken broth swimming with seafood topped off with basil and sprouts tickled and satisfied the senses. The grilled chicken rice plate was good too, but the Pho is the star of the show, as it should be! Service was swift and efficient. The setting is informal, nothing fancy but comfortable. Perfect for a casual lunch. Highly recommended.

Online ordering for take out as well as pick up is very easy. Your order is placed on a table with your name on it. I ordered the vegan pho and also the veggie spring rolls. Overall my rating is 3.5/5. Though I loved the colorful veggies in the vegan pho, the broth was rather bland to my taste. I also didn't care for the veggie spring rolls because it was just lettuce and tofu. Would have appreciated more flavor compared to other spring rolls I've enjoyed. Once shelter in place restrictions is lifted, the restaurant has very nice interior decor for a lovely ambiance.

I was having the Sunday scaries. It didn't help that I drank the night before. I drank the night before to avoid getting the Saturday scaries. All the scaries that I avoided on Saturday ended up moving over to my typical Sunday scaries. That's a whole lot of scaries to deal with in one day. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday scaries aren't usually as bad because I try not to drink during the week, except for when I was in college. Back then I could avoid all the scaries for weeks and then it would hit me like a ton of bricks on one dreadful day. Luckily, those days are long gone. Now my scaries are more predictable and the worst day for them always seems to be Sunday. Sunday scaries may also be especially tough because I know I'm going to try not to drink during the week. On Sunday I have to cope with the fact that I will not have alcohol to cope with any potential scaries that pop up during the week. At least when the Thursday scaries come around I know there are just a few more days left until I can drink to avoid the daily scaries. Anyways, the pho from this place helped me calm down my Sunday scaries and for that I'm grateful.

The vegan pho is pretty good. The noodles are my favorite part. The fried egg rolls are delicious. This will be my new go to place for pho

Quick service nice people, LOVED the lemon grass bahn mi, the pickled daikon was my favorite because it added some crunch to the sandwich. The bread was so soft but toasted and didn't hurt the roof of my mouth. Would definitely come again.

I Paid $38 for two Cold soup. Noodle not cookThere should not be time for mistake/error in a slow season. They should attract customer by making it good meals. There are too much completion out there. If you keep making mediocre food, you soon will be out of business.
