voyaging to this grocery store is a cultural experience. I used to visit quite a bit when I was in high school, on a diet for sports, and going to Stanford for healthcare. during that time my mom saw the CEO of Apple buying fish and we had a really interesting takeout meal with this older lady who invited herself to eat with us and told the story of how she used to be a doctor and how her son went to Yale. amusing experiences aside, the product selection and quality is pretty good here due to the zipcode/clientele. it's like the sort of place techies in arc'teryx jackets buy urban remedy dinners. always entertained to return. good food, unique ambiance

I am a long-time Whole Foods shopper but I am fed up with the women (Gypsies?) who use their children to beg and are very aggressive toward customers, sometimes not letting us get back into our cars. These women live in apartments nearby and they do not want food; they want money. if Whole Foods and the other stores in this complex does not start reporting them to police, I will stop shopping here. I carry food along with a list of resources for food, rent and hot meals but that's not want they want. They only want cash. They often walk among the cars and give their children signs, and one day when the center is packed, someone will be hit or killed. Additionally, these children should be in school and not begging. if you want customers, make it easier for us to shop!

They carry many of my favorite brands. Convenient parking. I like the produce department. Also lots of variety in cheese and meat departments.

I actually use it to drop off my Amazon return products. The prices are high.

I appreciate the many finer points of Whole Foods. However, I tried to place an order for a gift card online. I received an email saying my order was rejected and was given a number to call prior to trying to place the order again. When I called, they were unable to help me at all. They gave me a number to call (the number I had actually called them on). I was finally told I needed to send an email. If that were the case, I should have been directed to do so by the email I initially received. I am offended by the fact that the call center is in India. I understand they are a 'multinational' corporation, but they are headquartered in the US. They need to start acting like it and hiring US citizens instead of outsourcing jobs and providing lousy customer service simultaneously.

I'm not a Whole Foods fan, but the store in Palo Alto is really great!

The sandwiches were unimpressive - not a ton of meat and extremely tough bread. I think Subway makes better sandwiches, which is kinda tragic. I also found the "no artificial nitrates or nitrites" marketing deceptive, since processed celery powder is virtually identical. Finally, the music was glitching and cut in and out every 2 seconds, which was really distracting. I don't know why they didn't just disable the music so the store could be peaceful.

Used to be known as “Whole Paycheck” as prices were very high. But since Amazon bought out Whole Foods prices are reasonable and there is more organic and eclectic choices

Good Whole Foods. Palo Alto prices and Palo Alto selection but parking is easy and almost always available as never too crowded. Street parking is usually available in limited quantities.

My neighborhood grocery. Not cheap and always crowded but I can walk to it. Selections have gotten less diverse since Amazon took over. I prefer the larger whole foods on El Camino and Piazza's on Middlefield if I'm driving. Produce is pretty good and prepared meals are popular with the start up crowd.

I like Whole Foods Markets it is pricey, but I believe the quality is good better than anything else I can’t get around here so I’m at Whole Foods in Palo Alto probably three times a week because I like to shop fresh and of course the store is not as big as other. Whole Foods stores was kind of makes it easier to get in and out and stuff as usual very professional, and kind.

Excellent customer service, especially bakery department!!!!! Cake was damaged (icing got stuck to box) and customer service graciously did a return transaction and I got another new cake. Staff was super understanding and helpful.

Bought bad milk from this Whole Foods that caused vomiting for my kid. The milk was not expired. The store fridges had issue the day before but they did not replace the products. Worst Whole Foods experience ever.

I like to use the self checkout at whole foods since Covid starts. However until now it doesn't improved! The same item with multiple barcodes on the product has the scanning issue showing "item not found" and once it shows the error, you won't be able to check out at the end until the stuff is coming to enter long numbers to unlock it. It is very inconvenience! It has been 3+ years, they don't improve the product packaging nor their scan system. The Stuff was chatting with other workers and no one stand by around the self check out area. After coming to check the error, she just said I scan the wrong barcode. If there are multiple barcodes on the item, how the customer supposed to know which one is the right one?? If she knows, why she doesn't report to the upper level and resolve the root cause. Very bad shopping experience here.
