Good customer service and a wide selection of sizes. The only reason for one less star than five is that the prices are quite high. $8 for a cardboard box. Shipping quotes are also inflated. Their USPS quote was 50% marked up compared to just shipping directly with USPS.

Box City is a lifesaver if you need to ship something! They have a huge variety of boxes, so I always find what I'm looking for. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and it's super convenient to have street parking and a lot in the back. Box City has become my one-stop shop for shipping supplies.

What happened to this place. It use to be great. Currently, I'm not impressed. They don't sell individual envelopes or small plastic envelopes. I can't come to this place anymore because they are limited on inventory. Very disappointing. What happened to this place.

WOW! I just visited Box City. I go regularly for all my boxing, shipping, packing, and moving needs. They just did an amazing reset of the space and it is fantastic. Also a much needed redo of the staff. New sharp, helpful, super customer oriented team members helped me with everything I needed. They wore uniform polo shirts and were extremely knowledgeable. Before you would get a grunt greeting, maybe. Big shout out to Sako and Jordie. They were both amazing, and they double teamed me on answering questions. Funny thing, the reset now better showcases everything they offer. Stuff I thought was new was reg merchandise that I couldn't see because of the clutter. Now you get a clean, bright, fresh looking environment. It makes me want to come back. BTW, they have great gift boxes in all sizes, from tiny jewelry to big stuffed animal sizes and tissue. You won't find everything for gift wrapping but you will find a lot. Mostly packing and storage and shipping items.

This was my first visit and I did want to see for myself based on the reviews.I always try to help small businesses and really hoped the reviews were not accurate.Since I needed boxes for moving, I went aisle by aisle to see all my options.They do have a giant selection to choose from. Much larger than Home Depot. But the price per box is crazy expensive! Average price for a regular medium box is $7!I ended up going to Home Dept afterwards to compare, and I got a box that was about an inch larger all the way around (compared to the one I bought here), and it cost $1.78!!! So the mark up is insane!!The guys who work there are not terrible, but they don’t put an emphasis on service at this location. I was not greeted and had to hunt them down for help with pricing. They do not have clear pricing on all the boxes, only some of them.If you are moving, I do not recommend coming here due to the insane pricing alone. You’re better off going to Home Depot.

In the past was my go to store and would also recommend it to others even though it is a bit of a drive - no more. The person there seemed to present being indifferent and while they say they have a huge selection, they didn't have what I was looking for. I would have thought that 30x15x15 would have been a standard size but they didn't have it (have gotten this size at the UPS store numerous times in the past). They did have 15x15x30 but that wouldn't work for my need. It would be useful if the website did a better job at presenting sizes available to avoid unnecessary trips.
