Walk here to get gourmet goodies, wine and spirits, and a wide assortment of Italian deli made dishes from The Cliffs Resort hotel! A must try! Four stars as the store is jam packed and I need a little more room to look at the many shelves of offerings but grew tired of bumping into people in the aisles. Maybe stock in the back and have limited qualities on the shelf and restock during the day to open up floor space.

You...must...go...here This is my #1 place to go to for a sandwich! Been coming here since the early 2000's and it hasn't changed a bit. Everything in their deli case is amazing...the salads, the meatloaf, the lasagne, the deviled eggs. But the sandwich's, particularly the Pancetta BLT is a taste bud pleaser. Pancetta is like the cotton candy of bacon's. It comes from the jowls of the pig versus the belly. A true bacon connoisseurs delicacy. Served on toasted bread with fresh lettuce, tomato and a thick slice of fresh mozzarella...I'm starting to drool as I type this! Located on the North end of Pismo Beach (actually still Shell Beach, but whatever lol) you'll find this little gem nestled in the Spyglass Shopping Center next to the Shell Station. Look it up...go there...eat there...come back and thank me 10/10

This is where the locals shop and eat. It's a cute deli meets convenience store meets tiny grocer/ bakery/coffee shop in one. I'm amazed by all they have to offer for being such a small store, and it is a much more elegant place to pick up items than a convenience store or gas station. I always order the California sandwich, a vegetarian-ish sandwich with Brie. There's usually a line for the deli, but that's because this place is so tasty and good! They also have things like lasagnas and various salads and sides to choose from in the deli case. Of course, there are baked goods and fresh fruits too. I'm always amazed at the new kombuchas they offer. I've learned about different kombucha brands over the years because of De Palo! The prices haven't gone up since I was here four years ago. Consider this place in case you haven't found a restaurant nearby, or if you are taking a break from driving on the 101. It's close to gas and the on/off ramp. They do have outdoor seating too!

An excellent Italian deli, the best in the county, Purveyors of the best handmade mozarella between SF and LA. The deli counter in back is a treasure, even though you can extremely well by just getting one of their many good breads and salamis or cheeses for instance. The grocery store is full of hard to find Italian and European items. The pre-made dishes on the way to the deli are a great choice for take-out dinner, the cakes at the back are great and the pastries by the front counter quite respectable.The only thing that's not been excellent has been the lasagna, with a disappointing thick layer of gloppy nondescript cheese on top to mar the perfect ricotta inside. Still, everything else is great.

C’mon man, the thick sliced sourdough for my smoked turkey and herbed Brie was easily the worst bread I’ve ever been served. So dry it stuck to the roof of my mouth and crumbled in my hands. So disappointed.

We were really excited to find an italian deli along our travels but the sandwiches were so dry and the bread was the worst I have had ever. Change out that bread!!!

We stayed at the spyglass and this place was super convenient. The sandwiches are delicious and had a bunch of novelty sodas. Staff was friendly and we got our sandwiches fast. They have tons of already prepared Italian foods and soups to take home. I would highly suggest this place. Also stays open later compared to other places around there. Nice little store.

We just happened to stumble upon this place. You know somewhere you get lost and find gold.The shop is pretty small, no shopping carts here, but don't let that fool you, this place is packed from floor to ceiling with specialty foods and delicatessen style deli. Literally it is like going to a farmers market of specialized foods made with love and pride.No large label food brands in this place, definitely a local gem and favorite.

Super cute store with a lot of wine variety. They also sell ready made aperol spritz which is amazing. I found the italian wines pretty decently priced as well.
