We hired Handy Movers in Dec 2024 to move us from Contra Costa County to Solano County. I appreciated the ability to reserve the move date with an online form which included details on number of boxes, pictures/artwork, and furniture. We received email confirmation of our reserve date; and, a week prior to the move a call to confirm available movers and we were able to add an additional mover to help us pack up our kitchen. Roberto, Mike, Rigo, and Chemo showed up on time and were well prepared. They efficiently and carefully packed up our four-bedroom home. Upon arrival to our new home, they were able to put together our reclining sofa and chair and our bedroom set. We were so happy that they were also able to pull out of the shipping boxes our NEW sit-stand desk and counter chairs and put those together too. Roberto helped us with laying out the open concept areas so that the living and dining room still had defined spaces and happily adjusted some of the larger furniture when I requested. They took the BEST care of my dining room glass table to ensure it arrived in good condition and even cleaned up the glass to remove dust and smudges. After all the work they did for us, the final bill came in very reasonably priced!
We are grateful for the work the Handy Movers team performed for us. They made a stressful life event manageable.
We would give this company and their crew 10 stars if we could. We highly recommend them.

Handy Movers moved me from
Danville to Martinez. They were efficient, careful, well priced. I was comfortable with their effort and communication and appreciated their professionalism. I told them I liked that they didn’t complain; unlike my children who have helped me in the past!” 😆

I couldn’t recommend these guys enough! This was the fastest move we’ve had to-date. They were super friendly, quick, and careful with our belongings. Will definitely be using them again for any future moves.

Rico and Mike were amazing as a two person team today! We moved from Antioch and Concord area to Martinez and they stopped at two houses and dealt very kindly with our pets. They were great with disassembly and reassembly of furniture and flexible when the unloading plan changed. Thanks so much for your care and attention, you made our move WAY less stressful!!

I highly recommend the Handy Movers as a moving company. Roberto, Chemo and Samuel were kind, efficient, and respectful. They helped me pack up the last things on the morning of the move which was really helpful. They were careful with my belongings. I've been raving to my friends about how smooth and easy my move was.

I am so glad we decided to use The Handy Movers for our big move this year. Roberto and his team called before their arrival. They were extremely fast and efficient. They have packed the whole kitchen and the living room (including artworks/ fragile items) extremely carefully so nothing got broken. They moved everything to a new location and made sure we were satisfied with where the furniture and all the items were placed. It has been a stress free day thanks to Roberto. Mike, Rigo and Chemo! I will definitely work with them in the future!

This was my fourth move in the last 7 years with The Handy Movers. I was hoping the level of service would be the same. Believe me, they didn’t disappoint. Mike and Chemo not only called me ahead of time but showed up on time ready to get the job done. They were extremely efficient, and extremely professional along with being fast. They knew their job and did it well. Moving day is hard enough, but this crew really alleviated the stress. Thank you for the great service!

I literally could sit here all day and look up adjectives to describe just how fantastic this company is and their employees.I first experienced their crew in full action when my friend was moving her parents closer to her. Her parents had been in the same house for 40 years. I was so impressed with how they treated everything with care and they were so good with her parents and patient and they worked their asses off.So when it was my time to move, I knew who I was going to use.Professional, hard working, thoughtful, respectful, I could literally go ON and ON and ON. If you're looking for a great company to use to move, please use these folks. You will not regret it. I need to get my receipt so I can list all their names, but I believe we had Roberto, Mike, Chemo and I can't remember the other guys name ( so so sorry )I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for helping us with our move. This company was great. All the people I dealt with in the office were very helpful. Mike and Chemo did a great job packing and the next day they, along with Roberto, were fast, efficient, careful with my antiques and SO hard working in the awful heat. They were polite, helpful and added too many little touches to write here. I can't recommend them highly enough. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Roberto and team were great, zero complaints. Communicated well, showed up on time, worked hard, were respectful, thorough and delicate with our things. Was with them most of the day unpacking while they moved us and we couldn't have asked for a more efficient 4 man team. Went above and beyond giving advice on where we should put things, reassembled all our furniture and didn't scratch the houses or our belongings. Very reasonable cost too! Would recommend to anyone.

They also had excellent recommendations for how to prevent damaging our walls and floors post-move.They were also very detailed, keeping track of how our mattress was positioned and asking if we wanted it rotated at the new house. You can tell they're very experienced because they were able to quickly remove doors, and disassemble furniture to get things to fit into tight spaces.
