“Alpine Hills Tennis & Swimming is an exceptional club that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the staff. The service attitude here is outstanding—every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist. They truly go above and beyond to ensure members and guests have a positive experience.

The food at the club is equally remarkable. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals served here. Every dish I tried was not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared and well-presented. The portions are generous, making it great value for the price. Whether you’re enjoying a post-tennis lunch or a casual family dinner, the menu offers something for everyone, with a focus on fresh ingredients and bold flavors.

The overall ambiance of the club is relaxed yet refined, creating the perfect setting for both leisure and sports. Whether you’re here for tennis, swimming, or simply to enjoy the excellent dining, Alpine Hills provides a top-notch experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-managed facility that excels in both service and quality.”

“Such a lovely place with workshop-like boutiques. Beautiful manicured landscape flocked by rose vines and shady tree, Spanish style roof and walkways meandering along this serene and elegant location ideal for weddings, art shows, and receptions. A pricy little restaurant, Cafe Wisteria, situated around a water fountain bath makes this an ideal respite for tea and photo shoots.”

“This is a great old theater that offers many different kinds of entertainment and music. We have seen three shows there. We prefer the balcony since they have seating and a bar upstairs. Main floor is standing room unless they offer seating which depends on the type of show or artist. Ticket prices are moderate and also depends on artist. Easy to get to and parking is easy.”

“I purchased the tickets online a day in advance for summer nights. I couldn’t get restaurant reservations, but they had food trucks that were selling mexican items and waffles.
Summer evenings ticket costs $38 per person. The gardens were beautiful.
They opened the 2nd floor of house for the first time. I spent 2 hours there.”

“My experience at Auto Vino yesterday was absolutely incredible. It was our first time and Inge was there to greet us and made us feel SO welcomed. She also had a plethora of treats, water and lots of lovin' for my dog Maggie!

We did a wine tasting and ordered pizza and the wood fired wings, all of which was insanely delicious! I will definitely be trying the salmon salad as I saw a few people order it and it looked incredible!

My mom has been telling me about this place for awhile and I can't believe it took me so long to come here, I will be a repeat customer for SURE! The chef even gave us leftover dough as they were closing for the day and I cannot wait to recreate something at home!

I didn't catch the names of the other staff members who were there yesterday but every single person was SO kind and went above and beyond for us. I kept hearing about the famous Daisey and I'm so excited to go back when she's there!
I just adore the sense of community at Auto Vino so thank you to everyone for such a lovely Sunday Funday!”

“Have been down to Auto Vino a couple of time for their Cars & Cabernet events and there’s always a great selection of cars on show. A particular highlight today was the Ferrari SF90 ? The great thing is that it never gets too crowded and the outdoor restaurant serves up some great pizza if you want to grab a bite. Just make sure you get there early because some of the owners don’t hang around with their cars for the whole day.”

“We recently stayed at Stanford Park Hotel for a business trip and our experience was nothing but spectacular. The coordination with Lauren prior to our arrival was simple, quick, and seamless. Upon arrival, the front desk team was very warm and welcoming - an excellent 1st impression. My room was available quickly and as the event host, I was greeted with a fresh fruit tray. The room was gorgeous, quiet, and extremely clean. We checked out the courtyard area by the firepits and the ambiance was unforgettable. Last but not least, the location is great. It's walkable to the Stanford Park shopping center and nearby offices. We just booked another hotel room block. It's our go to spot!”

“My sister just had her wedding at OVY, and it was absolutely amazing! Joe (the camp caretaker) made everything go so smoothly, the area was more beautiful than we could have imagined, and the facilities were incredibly comfortable! If I have the choice, I would copy her wedding at OVY again in a heartbeat. I cannot recommend it enough!”

“One of my favorite museums I've ever been to. All the exhibits are fascinating, with many hands on interactive portions. Want to climb into a mud wagon and imagine the experience of traveling for 9 hours along a bumpy road? Send a telegram? Drive a streetcar? Or try your hand at an 1800s gambling game? This place has it all.

I loved learning about the history of the place I live, where the highways and public transit systems I use daily came from. Or seeing the evolution California license plates, from porcelain plates to how we saved steel during the war. I've only seen one section so far out of a dozen since I'm spending so much time at each exhibit.

Admission is cheap, and the building looks beautiful. If you haven't been I highly recommend this museum.”

“Customer service is a make or break for me. Especially when it comes to hotels. 5 stars does not do this hotel justice. Their customer service is exceptional! Every worker I’ve interacted with has been amazing. Yesterday, when I checked in, a young woman with curly brown hair helped me and she made me feel like I was her only customer. I can’t even explain the experience but she is absolutely meant for customer service. She sent up a bottle of water to my room (I wanted to see Relay in action!!) and sent this note too! It truly made my entire week… and it’s been a rough one. The gentleman working tonight was super helpful with my questions and even delivered my DoorDash to my room! I usually have to go down to the lobby for it so I was pleasantly surprised.

Also, can we take a moment of silence for this beautiful towel turtle?! Incredible!! Also, I’ve never had a Holiday Inn Express have a note typed up and laid on my bed for my arrival.

This has been a 10/5 experience all around. I hope the executive team sees this review and appreciates each individual employee at this specific location because THIS is what customer service is about!”

“You don't have to be a car buff to enjoy this space for your event!

We hosted our team holiday party here and it was such a memorable event. Roz made sure everything went off smoothly, we enjoyed the casino activities above on the 2nd floor, along with the super memorable desert station served from the cutest diner ever. This space is truly special and you don't need to decorate a thing if you prefer not to because this space has it all to feel like you've been transported into another time or onto a movie set! If you are thinking about it - do it! You won't want to miss out on a special event here. Hope to be back again for another event / teambuilding.”

“This is one of the greatest community centers in Palo Alto. Everybody is so nice and friendly. Can't wait to go back to pre-Covid19 days where everyday and every week there is an event planned out by this community center. Good old days. Please get the Adas Cafe in the community center more active. We all miss the options of walking out of library or the community center and grab a cold or hot drink with a dessert or a small bite. Thank for your work Mitchell Park Community Center.”

“I have to say that I came in with high expectations that were not met, but overall the experience was still very good. I was under the impression that the faculty club would have a bit more of a luxurious vibe to it and feature interesting cuisines, but the reality is more of a log cabin vibe with standard fare. It's a nice space sure, but it doesn't live up to the hype. My burger was solid & so was my lemonade, but I wouldn't make it a point to come back. Amazing service though!”

“This was the first time my Fiance and I had ever gone to a paint date night and it was one of the best experiences ever! The 2 hours went by so fast as we had so much fun creating our painting. Our art instructor Prabin was awesome leading us every step of the way. I can't remember the Belmont franchise owners name but we couldn't have asked for a more friendly and welcoming host. I highly recommend you book your first paint date night if you are thinking about it as it is totally worth it!”

“We had a private function there and the staff was super helpful. The venue itself is a beautiful old building. Stage and various seating arrangement are available. We kept it very simple but you can make it super fancy too.”

“It's a nice community center. Visited there to attend annual performance of one of the dance schools located in this facility. Buildings look old, but well maintained. It is a multipurpose community center. Looks like you can rent the place by hour for such performances.”

“I stayed one night at Hyatt Centric Mountain View, and overall, I was very satisfied. The front desk staff were very friendly, and there is a restaurant and bar in the lobby with a happy hour. As a Hyatt Discoverist member or higher, I was pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary Fuji Water in the room. The room was very clean, with a nice design, the bathroom was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and Stanford Shopping Center is a bit further away, making it very convenient.

Walkability: around 3-5 minutes walking to the supermarket and some of restaurants.”

“My husband booked this place for Independence Day weekend as he predicted the hotel might not be too crowded and he was right . We loved empty pool which was pretty warm and hot jacuzzi. My daughter and I played in the pool for few hours in the evening and the next morning.

The room was really clean and staff were all welcoming and friendly.

The breakfast foods in hotel were subpar while service was great. We ended up having breakfast here because we felt too lazy to walk to Palo Alto downtown but the hotel is actually very walkable to downtown.”

“I was so glad I booked this hotel for my family - the location was very central to many places in Mountain View. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the staff extremely friendly and always greeted us, and the breakfast! The breakfast was what really pushed me to book here, and it was fantastic. It's great having a hot breakfast available in the morning, especially when travelling with kids.In-n-Out is only a few minutes drive away and other big stores like Target and Safeway are a few minutes in the other direction. Despite us being on a major road, I felt our room was nice and quiet. We requested housekeeping every other day, and it was fulfilled on time each time. It is so appreciated!Rooms: Amenities were Dove products! I wish more hotels used them. It is the first time after a hotel stay that my hair didn't feel crusty and over dried.Food & drinks: There's something for everyone at breakfast, and I loved the punny signs for each station. The attendant was very on top of refilling and maintaining the space.”

The general manager Marsha was lovely, impressive, and a genuine spirit.Special thanks to Charlene at the front desk. She was very helpful and polite.Rooms: If you love contemporary with pops of color and the lighting is perfect. There wasn't a thing missing!! Beds are also comfortable for a good nights rest.Nearby activities: This is located in a business park and several car dealerships where nearby.Safety: You will want to valet and may want to walk alone from the self parking garage it's not attached.Walkability: Not recommended car is neededFood & drinks: Loved the coffee and breakfast. The dinner and lunch, the presentations are great but lacking in taste for the cost. Area for dining and drinks have more than one area for seating.
