The pharmacists here will treat you like a drug addict for refilling your ADD medication. Apparently they are very opinionated about this. Comments like "wow, already?" And "are you sure you're all out?". There's a reason you're scanning barcodes at the CVS pharmacy, not prescribing medications.

Really unbelievable. I know these folks are busy, but this morning I was told (after 3 times calling and providing my cc number for my prescription to be mailed,) that they were too busy, and that for some reason their computer wasn't processing a cc # they had been using for years. The rudeness of the pharm tech, speaking (shouting) over me, telling me I didn't understand, saying that they had many more patients that they had to tend to and weren't willing to assist with getting things straightened out. Poor service, poor treatment, and a bad experience all around.

They are very rude and they have very poor customer service. Kept me on hold twice just for them to hang up on me. And apparently I'm not the only one with this complaint. Absolutely Unacceptable.

The rudest Customer service I have received while in the US, and I've been here for 35 years. Kept me on hold and just to have an attitude with me and hang up. Very unprofessional. If I could I would give them 0 stars. Definitely not the only one according to these reviews.

Do these people read their reviews? This is insane that they are still operating and are in charge of peoples medication. I never leave reviews but the way I was treated at this CVS was HORRIBLE. I switched to Walgreens right next door and HIGHLY recommend no one comes here EVER. I called the day before to make sure my prescription would be ready in the morning and the person I spoke to insured me it would be. I called the next morning after not receiving anything letting me know my script is ready and this lady with an accent (I forgot her name) was extremely rude to me and as I was explaining to her that I need my medication in the AM she literally HUNG UP on me and said she's busy. I had my doctor call and 15 min later she called me sounding extremely inconvenienced by me and said "k come pick it up." Every time I come in there its a sh*tshow and all of the employees are yelling at each other. I'm taking this up past yelp because it's ridiculous that they don't do anything about this situation.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They treat you as if you are a burden for needing medication. Worst service I have ever had.

There have been so many problems with this pharmacy. It's one thing after another. Lenah dropped the ball this time. She promised me that she would do something and didn't do it. Adrian did the same thing previously. I can't trust these people anymore. It's absolutely pathetic how poor their performance is.

I have never left a review before in my life, but I need to. I called the pharmacy to see if one of my prescriptions was there instead of the Wal Mart Pharmacy because I had a little mix up where my prescription was being sent. First, she accidentally answered the phone I suppose because she was talking to her coworkers and complaining about the store. She realized I was on the phone and said, "Oh please tell me you didn't hear that". She proceeded to laugh and laugh and then asked me what she could help me with. Second, it turns out my prescription wasn't there so I told her that's ok, and Wal Mart already faxed my doctor the request. She didn't hesitate to say, "Why do you use Wal Mart? Why not us?" This wasn't a professional "survey" question, the tone in her voice sounded like she was personally offended that I didn't use their pharmacy (which I have before, I am in the system). I have never had a more unprofessional encounter before. Wal Mart Pharmacy has my business from now on.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR COVID TESTING. the staff in the back were so rude. After trying to find the place and calling several times. They canceled my test for being late after not being able to find it since it's "around back". When I got to the back of the building I was waiting a while for someone to come out. Finally when someone came out she told me she canceled it and couldn't help me. You would think with everything that is going on they would be more concerned in people safely and well being. Now I am going home tomorrow (flying) and hopefully won't be carrying the virus. Thanks a lot CVS Testing at Poway for "accommodation" and "help" during these times of need. Will never be going back to this location. Worst staff.

Poway CVS pharmacy just recently remodeled and it looks brighter, open, and cleaner. The windows are clearly labeled with dropped off, pick up, and consultation. The right side is designated for the Minute Clinic and there are a few chairs spaced apart for waiting area. The service is hit or missed depending on who you get and what time of day. I called to place a refill rx and they had it ready same day. They use texting feature to communicate to remind you to refill, when pick up is ready, and any delays.

It is unbelievable how bad this pharmacy is. Initial prescription called in to another CVS. They didn't fill it, call to let us know it wouldn't be filled, or tell us it wasn't filled when we went to pick up other prescriptions. When we realized that prescription was missing and called to find out why, they said it had to be shipped from another CVS. Turns out that CVS was 7 mins away so I asked to have the prescription transferred to that pharmacy and I would pick it up today. They told me it would be ready in an one and a half hours. When I went to the CVS in Poway to pick it up, they told me it was not ready because it was not covered by insurance. Since this is a prescription for pain (not a narcotic) for a family member who has cancer, I explained that of course I still wanted the prescription filled and would pay the price without insurance. They said they would call my name over the loudspeaker. About 45 mins of waiting and hearing several other names called, I sat up at the front to wait. The pharmacy manager saw me and said that she was sorry because she had forgotten about me. She explained they were going through construction so we're having trouble finding some medications (the actual pharmacy looked disheveled with bottles and boxes off the shelves and on the floor). Getting a prescription for magic mouthwash was, all in all, 3 hour affair. We will definitely not be using CVS pharmacy again unless in absolute dire need without any other choices available.

I used this store's Minute Clinic and had a great experience. I will definitely go back for all my family's health care needs. I walked in with no appointment, signed up and was told i could be seen in 1 hour. I ran an errand and was seen at exactly my appointment time- no waiting. The NP was efficient, understanding, offered prescriptions to cure my issues. He was conscious of my budget and suggested ways i could save on the medicines and discouraged unnecessary costly tests but rather recommended treatment for faster relief. I do not have insurance but the cost of the visit, including treatment, was about the same as 2 days worth of my (now cancelled) Kaiser insurance premiums. And yet within 15 hours of walking into the store i am essentially cured. I have not experienced this type of curtesy or effectiveness from any of the HMOs or PPOs i have bought in the past. What a great resource to the community.
