Will not be doing business with a store that is cowarding to the right and not allowing women to choose what they need.

This pharmacy is horrible. My doctor called in my prescription at 5 pm . At 8:45 it was still not ready and rather than get it ready associate said they could not cause it was too close to closing and told me to go to 24 hr at El Cajon. Way to be helpful. Lost a customer here.

Yes, this is the worst pharmacy in the entire county. I would give it -1 if possible. I'm just waiting for them to lose the VA contract.

Way to suck at being a pharmacy Walgreens. Sat on hold for 30 minutes during which the pharmacy staff picked up and clicked back on hold 9 times. We drove to the pharmacy and waited in line, while still on hold, and watched the girl behind the counter repeatedly pick up and click hold again...until we were next in line. How about 2 weeks to fill a prescription? How about asking for an RX to be transferred and then finding out 2 days later that there's no record of that transfer? How about calling corporate and never getting a call back because they've called the pharmacy and were told the issue was resolved? Seriously?

My husband and I had a terrible healthcare experience at Poway Walgreens. A few months ago, we made an appointment for a vaccine online (non-covid vaccine) but (despite having a scheduled appointment) we had a wait of over 2 hours. The lack of communication by the pharmacist and staff was frustrating for us and the other patients who were waiting, but the whole experience was worsened by the behavior of the condescending and rude pharmacist - in addition to being unprofessional, his behavior was unacceptable. As a prescriber, I caution my patients to go elsewhere for their pharmacy needs. I don't trust this pharmacy/pharmacist to give my patients the quality care they deserve.

Friendly service. Transferring prescriptions from Walmart to Walgreens was easy since Walmart does not except Tricare my parents.Knowledgeable staff and even when they are busy they are still nice to you on the phone.

I work with a medical office and had a patient using this pharmacy, I needed to reach the pharmacist about a patient prescription and I waited on the phone for an hour trying to get ahold of someone, does anyone even answer the phone here?!?!? Pretty ridiculous. 2-11-22.

Been using Walgreens for 20+ years. This particular one for a couple of years. No issues in the past. In the past couple of months customer service got really bad. I had to go in person both months to make sure they fill my medication the same day because I'd be on hold for 25-30 mins (true numbers) and every time it was my turn they just hung up. Went there today at 6 to request it to be filled today. The tech said they'll text me when it is ready. Got the text at 6:20. Went to pick it up at 7:20pm. Pharmacy is closed. Phone message said they would be open till 9 as usual. I understand they are busy and short staffed but c'mon... Being on hold for 30mins just to be disconnected 2 months in a row? Sometimes DMV is more responsive than that. At least they don't hang up. Most importantly, why wouldn't the tech tell me they were closing in an hour?! Tomorrow I cannot get there till after 6. That means I will be out of my medication for the whole day. Thanks Walgreens! Great way to treat your loyal customers. Taking my business elsewhere next time. You just lost a long-time customer.

I over heard a woman getting scammed for gift cards here. I was nervous but tried to intervene, then the grey haired man who works here confirmed with the lady she was being scammed and said here let me help, she handed him her cell phone and he authoritatively said, Poway sheriffs department! And the scammer hung up. He showed the woman how to block any further unwanted calls, and after some conversation she left. The employee explained it wasn't his first time helping a person with this situation. Amazing job keeping the vulnerable safe in out community!I wish there was more praise I could give to this man than just this review.

Why does a corporation that makes thousands of dollars on a one month supply of 1 medication for just 1 patient not pay their employees enough to be able to properly staff their stores? It takes 20-30 minutes to answer the phone here every time. It's not the employees' fault, it's the corporation being greedy, not paying living wages, especially during a pandemic. It's also not that people don't want to work. It's not ok.

Walgreens Poway does not know how to conduct business at the Pharmacy. I scheduled a Flu Shot at 7pm arriving at 6:50 checking in and told to have a seat to wait. At this point I should say that they were not busy. I saw no one else seated and waiting. They seemed occupied but without any sense of urgency. Finally at 7:20 they called someone else for their shot. Another 20 minutes passed calling another name for their shot. I didn't see either sitting so maybe they were walking around. At 7:50 they called someone else I did see arrive After I had. As they walked in I asked and what about my "last name"? I was asked back to the original window really upset that their operation couldn't accomplish a simple flu shot in ONE HOUR now. This was enough Red Flags to not have any confidence. I thanked the apologetic man leaving as a friend. I've found that pharmacies both walking and Mail order shouldn't be in the medicine dispensing business, customers are not there for fun, they really need their medicines. And when an operation is so inept, inefficient, basically unable to help the customer in real need. Higher management must step in to make changes. I've made another appointment at another Walgreens, hopefully that will turn out well. Mike Martin

Walked in here to pick up some items. Yuri helped us find the item and checked us out. I haven't had this type of service in a Walgreens in awhile. Yuri showed that he cared and has amazing service!

Useless. I scheduled a pick up at 10 am, did not have time to pick up then but came at 5:30 pm before work, they'd already put it back! Such a frustrating process with ridiculous waits despite plenty of staff in the back. Would love to have a small pharmacy to go to.

Unfortunately, we must use this pharmacy because Tricare is our secondary insurance. Most of the time they don't run our prescriptions through both insurances, so we have to hold up the line while they take care of that. They take forever to fill a prescription, and their excuse was they were short staffed. I had a prescription (the strength) changed and the doctor sent in a new prescription but they kept filling the old one and never looked at the new one until I complained a couple of times. Then they didn't have it and told me to come back as they would order additional to make up the 90 I was short. They called me twice regarding this and kept asking me if I got them so I went down to see what the problem was and they only received 50 pills and won't know when the rest will be in. I am short a months supply as far as my doctor knows he thinks I got 180. They said that there is a note on my profile that I only got 50 pills, but the doctor can't see that. All the staff that we complain to admits that their computer system is a mess. If we could find another pharmacy that works with Tricare for Life, we would leave Walgreens. I would not recommend anyone go to them.
