I kept a unit @Quincy MiniStorage for several years keeping many 100+ yr old family eirlooms, Through thick and thin, these treasures some how I managed to hold onto all of my adult life. Nearly 50 yrs. Unfortunately,s a result of an accident with serious injury I got two months delinquent. Contacting the storage as soon as I was able todiscuss the issue, the person I spoke with was very kind and agreed to talk with management and call me if manager Ms. Karen had a problem with my situation. She never once called to discuss this. Having moved twice chasing mail isn't always timely.Owing a couple payments on my unit it was emptied and contents taken to...can't disclose where??? 2 wks before the end of the third month/ payment due. Not appropriate at that point. I understand owing fees. An honest detailed explanation was given. Two wks ago today this heartbreaking ( bill collecting) stealing took place. Money in hand and after several attempts to contact management via phone , msgs with no return 3 times to remedy the issue 9 days too late when I finally get a return call, to pay the balance. Wow! Ms. Karen was not the most pleasant person as she hung up the phone when I asked where the contents went. Thinking that with a bit of luck, maybe I could retrieve somethings. Priceless pieces I can never ever replace.Nope. "Can't tell you where the things are." She said. Bam! Silence on the phone. Wow! Really? Was any of this true what has just said to me. Who knows,conflicting information for sure.If you use Quincy Mini Storage don't get behind or it's gone! Even with communication. Beware!!
