My case was messy, involving several states because the other party and I had both moved from California where the original support order had been issued. I spoke to several different law offices and attorneys as I was trying to determine how best to proceed in each state. Most people basically told me to give up because it would be too expensive to hire an attorney and I might not win, so it would not be worth it. Or they told me to represent myself. A few were confused and even gave me what turned out to be incorrect info or advice.Flora Garcia-Sepulveda truly stood out as the best. First of all, she offered to talk to me for 30 minutes, which I could afford. To be efficient with her time, I provided her with a written summary of my case. She immediately understood my case and in just a few minutes she clearly and concisely told me what to do and what to expect. She could have taken on my case and made more money, but she was honest and direct and said that although we could file with the court in California, it would not help me in the end, and she explained to me the reasons. Flora listened closely, saw a path forward, and explained to me in terms I could understand. She affirmed what I had learned on my own and corrected parts I had wrong. I left the conversation feeling more confident in my DIY approach to my case.A couple of weeks before my hearing, I reached out to schedule another 30 minutes with Flora. My case had some new developments. On short notice, she fitted me into her full schedule, meeting with me at the end of the day. Once again, she listened closely, understood the nuances of the situation immediately, and then redirected me to a better course of action than what I had come up with. She gave me specific steps that I could do myself to strengthen my case. I left our second conversation feeling empowered and clear on my next steps to take. Following her advice, I reflected and made some strategic decisions.In the end I won, not 100% but a decent outcome. Against the odds. It was uphill all the way. I did a ton of research on my own. I hired a good local attorney for the hearing. I stood my ground with confidence. My conversations with Flora greatly improved the entire process for me.The outcome is truly life changing for me and my child. I am so grateful to Flora for her part in this process --- not just because I won, but also because she helped to restore my agency and my dignity as I worked through this difficult process step by step. I cannot recommend Flora highly enough.

I had previously worked with a divorce lawyer prior to working with Flora, and it was an awful experience. Her fees were really high and she talked rude to me, my case never went anywhere after two years aprox! It was very frustrating experience. Fortunately, my sister referred me to Flora and in no time my case was resolved and well within a very good price range! i am very happy and pleased with Flora and her teams service, price and customer service! I highly recommend.

Was very disappointed with the consultation. Was a complete waste of time and money. Definitely do not recommend. Honestly with that type of consultation it should’ve been free. Questions were not being asked and it seemed that there was little to no interest.
