My good sis, Stephani recommended this spot. No frills found here but it's still a hidden gem! I showed up without appointment and was treated with kindness, appreciation and respect. They didn't offer my usual (dip, upscale high priced pedicure) but what they did have to offer came with attention to detail and quality service. My favorite part of my acrylic fill in (on my dip nail set WHICH came out flawless) and pedicure service was the pedicure massage and tiger balm oil foot treatment!!!! I'm from Richmond but as of recent started going to a nail salon in Oakland BUT I Kim's will start to see me much more often.

My nails look HORRIBLE!!! Some are painted completely but some are missing polish in multiple areas. My right thumb is BULKY!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!! I stopped coming here years ago & should’ve NEVER RETURNED!!! My nail tech was booked unfortunately!!! The older lady who did my nails kept asking if I liked them, I kept saying NO!!! She kept using TISSUE to wipe my nails, which was adding fibers so she kept redoing them & this was the outcome!!! Cindy double/triple dips on her wax which is AGAINST THE LAW!!! It’s a review of a woman getting STAPH from here!!! LISTEN TO US & DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Cindy had the audacity to say my nails look good!!! 2 of Cindy’s clients said my nails were HIDEOUS & DULL!!! I’m on a new spiritual journey that told me to just LEAVE!!! $22 WASTED because Cindy’s DISRESPECT was going to try to bring the DEVIL OUT OF ME!!! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

This is my third time here at Kim's nails and although my nails never quite look like my vision they usually weren't bad. Today I came in and asked which designs the nail technician could do. After shooting down three that were too hard we landed on this one. The flowers are done really poorly and the below pictures are after she attempted to redo them. The first time all petals were red white and pink due to the colors mixing. I was charged and extra $40 for these designs as well. (Last picture is the inspiration)

My daughter e her friend came here . Once my daughter was called to sit . The lady leaves e wont come back . Then my daughter got tired of waiting e got up. The worker next chair instead calls another lady that came in a few later. It was absurd . Then when her friend sat down my daughter decided not to do her nails here. I would have been a karen but my daughter told me not to . The service is ugly . I would not come back even for free . They only care for returning customers but new not so . I did observe their this . No stars but put one in order to post it !!! Awful

I use to go to this place back in the day and stop going why I do that cause this place is the best in town I love how they do my pedicure you will leave there feet feeling so refreshing the prices are reasonable I will never go nowhere else I love it here

If this place had a motto it would be: You Get What You Pay For. My overall experience was unpleasant. I guess I can give them props for getting me in and out the door in a timely manner being that my lunch is an hour. With that being said I did not have time to point out everything I disliked about my nails. My nail set was definitely one of those 'what you got vs. what you wanted' moments to say the very least... Design: hideous. Nail bed: lifted. Acrylic: Thick! I went back with my friend who also got her nails done and they didn't have to say anything for us to know that they did not want us there. Long story short: once it was my friends turn to have her nails fixed the nail tech was very rough with her & cut her finger tips multiple times. We ended up leaving. It was giving: NEVER AGAIN.. Cleanliness: 0 Friendliness: 0 Atmosphere: 0 Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else.

If I could give it 0 stars I would this place has definitely went downhill more than it ever was before . Came for my event and decided to get my feet done with acrylic added on big toe , whatever you do don't get your feet done by the lady she literally rushed on my feet like she had somewhere to be in the next 20 minutes and gets mad as I'm asking her to correct her work as if she's not getting paid ... take your money elsewhere.
