Skilled, honest, and fair price. This shop was recommended to me by a friend who knows alot about car repairs and he took his car there and was very satisfied with their knowedge and skills. The service manager, Javier, is very professional and kept me informed as to progress status. After the initial testing and evaluating my transmission problems, he gave me options and also suggested fixing some other problems he saw. Beware they say 1 price one day another the next . Don't matter if you know what's wrong with your car they want to charge you 150 to check and see if you know what's wrong . Just letting the common folk know. Still better prices then super auto though fyi

Honesty and integrity is what you'll find at this shop. I had a big transmission oil leak. My previous mechanic told me I needed a full transmission seal replacement. I took it to One Way since they could get me in earlier. They gave it a look over and told me that wasn't the problem. They could have lied and done the job and made some good money. Turns out the problem was something my original mechanic could have fixed under warranty for a repair he performed. I mainly dealt with Javier and he was very cool about the whole thing. One way transmission is a Great place to have your transmission fixed or rebuilt.I checked with 6-7 different transmission places and I chose this one as they were about $600.00 less that the others. (Complete rebuild) they were also the furthest away from me. But worth it. They are in Riverside and I’m in Hemet.They also promised about a 5 day turnaround. ( can’t remember, but I got it back on the 5th day or the morning of the 6th). Other trans shops were promising 7-14 days.I was a little Leary, it’s a bit of a smaller shop. But that worked to my favor with personal service and a family feel.I dealt with Javier, who kept me informed every couple of days.The transmission has never been better. Strong, smooth and appears extremely reliable. Literally like the car was when it was brand new.They also have the best warranty. Most rebuild shops were 90 days or 6 months. One way’s is 1 year.Where they were most impressive is a few days later, I had a starting issue with my car. Javier did not even hesitate to say bring the car in and let us look at it.(Ended up being a starter issue and absolutely nothing to do with the transmission job). But, My point is they did not hesitate to help and proved they back up their work 100%.

I have engine codes for my car and I know what is wrong with it! But they want to charge extra to see the codes while doing a diagnostic! That costs money I don't need to pay anyone! So I will not pay that here! They wouldn't even listen to me about what it's doing at all and that I know what parts to buy and replace but they won't fix it! So they do not get any business from me! This review is from a conversation over the phone where he was wanting to charge me $160 plus to do a test that is not needed on the car when I have the code printed out on the car in my hand! I'll have someone else fix my car! That will trust a woman! I know what is wrong with my car because the diagnostic codes do not lie it's the same little box they use there because i used the same one! I would give this place a 0 if I could do so..
