On November 1st, 2023, my iCloud account was hacked by an online scammer from China. While they hacked my account, they also hacked into my Apple Wallet, which was linked to my debit card with Schools First. The scammer made $1000 in fraudulent charges on my debit card. I notified SchoolsFirst and made a fraudulent claim at the Rancho Cucamonga Branch hours after the incident. I was told that I would receive further information regarding the decision. As of November 13th, 2023, SchoolsFirst denied my claim and did not provide me any further written detail as to why my claim was denied. I am disappointed that I am losing $1000 of my own money because my bank fails to protect my money. Do not bank here because our money is not safe against online scammers.

Schools First Credit Union is AWESOM!!! The staff are friendly, professional, and always eager to care for their customers banking needs. Honestly, I can’t see myself banking ANYWHERE ELSE … EVER!!!

I am a military vet and I came here to inquire about an account. I worked for LB schools for almost 10yrs but this credit union must think they are the Prada of credit unions because they have only 4 guidelines to getting an account. I think being a military veteran should be a great addition to their qualifications.

SchoolsFirst really is the best financial institution to safe keep your money with. This is from someone who have had accounts with other banks such as Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Washington Mutual, even Partners Federal Credit Union (for Disney employees) - SchoolsFirst really does take the cake! I had to make a special stop by the Riverside Court Services - but dropped by here so I could pick up a Cashier's Check (you can't pay using a personal check or credit card to the County Sheriff). I just brought all the paperwork with me since I wasn't too familiar with this process. I was greeted immediately as I walked in by the friendly people upfront - and had a short wait before I was called up to the teller window. Annalia was friendly and professional. I explained to her what I needed, and as I fumbled with my debit card so I could "identify" myself - I explained I was a mobile/online banking user and didn't visit the branches often. She was understanding and polite and double checked how I wanted the cashier's check to be written out, and what I wanted to put down on the memo field. The entire transaction took minutes - Annalia was friendly throughout, even offering me one of the peppermint patties that the credit union thoughtfully left outside the windows for their Members. Note: Parking is not free - but the Credit Union does validate for you (just bring your ticket with you). It was an easy in/out, since it's summertime for UCR (this place is next to UCR) - but I imagine it can get crazy during the school year. Luckily I wanted to get this transaction settled and out of the way, so the parking lot was relatively empty in the late morning. Great location!

This place changed my life! Edie helped me out and I was able to get better rates on everything. They are so friendly and helpful here, and never make you feel like you're asking too many questions!

The customer service at this branch is amazing. I came in to do a wire transfer slightly past the cutoff time and Keira showed a huge sense of concern and urgency with my request and was able to push the wire through. I can't thank Keira and Schoolsfirst FCU enough for making this happen for me

Called to make an appointment and the operator on the field was very helpful she was able to help me set up an appointment with a financial advisor I would totally give her a raise or bonus and recommend her to anyone her name is Peggy and walks for contact center.

I was on my way to a different credit union and SchoolsFirst showed up closer on google maps so I decided to check it out. It’s such a coincidence that I am a school employee and this place specifically caters to that audience. I am a graduate student that also works for my university. Most of my 20s were spent surviving and it’s not like I made poor financial decisions, but I didn’t make the correct ones. SchoolsFirst is now working with me to improve my financial standing and providing me with resources to not only accelerate that process but also educating me. Amalia at the University Branch has been absolutely amazing. Not only is her customer service excellent but it’s so refreshing to see that there are still individuals out there that actually care and want the best for you as a human being, not just as a customer. She deserves a raise!

Went in today to track down an old account I started years ago. Didn't know exactly where it was ( I knew the bank, but not which type of account. All I had was my debit card and my ID. I was fortunate to have Amalia assist me. Over the course of the next 20 minutes she located my account and was able to answer every question and make excellent suggestions on how to proceed, if I wanted. She even gave me advice on car shopping! My wife and I have been with Schools First since they acquired the original Riverside CU away back in the day!

Just signed up at schools first. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. They opened our checking and savings account and handled the transfer of my Profit Sharing to an Ira. Ronnie was amazing, friendly, and funny. We felt like we we're doing business with a friend. (I was never a paid for this review).

This place sucks screw the guy in charge. He made false promises. I was given everything in the world as a PROMISE for one name. I give it and get nothing in return. I'll see to it that this dick gets a call from the BBB. the company also has thievery like no other. They got hacked a few years back and YOUR info is all over the internet for anyone to steal. Trust me stay away from this bank. I have second hand knowledge of all this reported to this and the "head of security" but he's a washout.
