Horrible experience.....left super frustrated, not sure I will ever go back! Over paid for an item simply because I needed it; it was a simple exchange for the same item. Store closed all its doors at closing leaving one door for exit which was on the second floor on the opposite side of where I parked. Walked in the dark in a very unsafe area. Totally unsafe could not believe I was put in this situation!

Not sure if I'm reviewing the right store. I purchased a mattress which ended to small for me after delivered. Initially I purchased mattress online. After I realized mattress was too small, I called Macy's and spoke to a representative who assisted me in returning the one mattress. She informed me of the fees (15% restocking fee & $99 delivery fee). I asked if those could be waived since I was replacing mattress with a queen size through Macy's. Rep agreed to waive fees while on phone. It took approximately 90 days for my original mattress to be delivered. Then, after I ordered the replacement, took 1 full month to receive. Macy's does not provided any receipt for purchases done online/over the phone. There was no way to track other than with a sales check #. So, now that I received an email from Macy's stating a credit to my credit card for the return on the 1st mattress, it appears both fees that I mentioned above were charged to me and since it took so long now there's no record of person I talked to. Also, the email I received DOES NOT give a breakdown of what's being charged to my as the issue a credit. So, if anyone is thinking of purchasing a mattress Online or on the phone at Macy's, THINK AGAIN. Unless you like chasing Macy's and going through hassles over what you're being charged. I'm not happy because Macy's did not credit back to me what they promised me. Plus, it took an eternity to receive 1st mattress and 2nd mattress (replacement). ME, I WON'T BUY A MATTRESS FROM MACY'S AGAIN!

Well, I was a loyal Macy's shopper for years, but I have to say I don't shop there as much as I used to. That being said, this Macy's in particular has lost my business. I was looking for women's plus sizes, could not find them, asked an associate and was told they no longer carry plus sizes! Who made that stupid decision? The associate was polite and seemed to feel bad, but I felt somewhat humiliated and a little embarrassed. I've bought plus sizes in this store in the past, but I will no longer go here for anything. They've alienated me as a shopper. Side note - they do have plus sizes for women online, but I want to see what I'm buying and hopefully try it on first. Sure hope this Macy's is an exception and that others still carry women's plus sizes.

Every time I come here the "at your service"associates are very nice and helpful. Today I was being helped by who I assume was the manager she was very polite and quickly processed my return.

For small items and relatively good quality clothes, Macy's is a good place to shop. Not so much for large goods such as bedroom sets, dining room sets, sofa-sleepers, etc. I went to Macy's on December 7th, 2020 and purchased all the items mentioned above for $5559. Unfortunately the deliveries kept getting pushed back with each passing week. I got an email stating that my sofa-sleeper would not arrive until March 12, 2021. Same happened with the BR set. I moved into new apartment December 11, 2020 and was willing to wait into January for my goods. But after their second "delivery pushback" notice, I cancelled all my orders. Went to Jerome's and found everything I needed for $3685. I saved over $1800 and am getting my goods delivered in a few days given that my purchases are in their warehouse. I feel bad for Macy's. Their products aren't bad. But they are pricier than others. Their service staff is very helpful and friendly. Their delivery system . . . not so much!

Pros: the store looks nice and it has friendly customer service. Now let me tell you about my experience: (1) I'm shopping for a mattress, and a manager (who will remain anonymous) guided me through and I liked the credit card deal he mentioned. I asked if I can get 10-15 mins to test the mattress and then process the sale. He never came back and that was after I opened up the Macy's card-- I felt that his goal was just to open up the card; but I let it go, and I went to the kind sales lady to complete the transaction. (2) I mentioned to her the $125 off purple mattress and credit information I got from the print out the manager gave me. She processes it. I head home. When I check the receipt, she forgot to apply the discount. I had to drive back and get her to fix it. Time spent that I won't get back. She mentioned she would email the supplier to see if they can accommodate a deal for me (some free bed sheets and what not). (3) I had asked if there were any other deals coming up with the purple mattress and he had replied more than likely not. I got with my daughter a week later, to see they were offering 10%, which means I would have saved more. I get it, he's trying to make a sale, but it still bothered me and reminded me why I don't like shopping at retail stores. (4) The kind saleslady informs me that I will not be getting anything from the supplier since I got a $125. I wasn't too happy to hear that, but I understood. (5) I contacted Macy's via email to see if they can redeem 10% instead of $125. I never got an email back. (6) I waited 2 weeks for them to call me and set up a delivery date, which they said they would... they didn't. (7) I created an account to see if I can schedule it myself via the internet, and the sales check didn't come up. I put my phone number and email, nothing. It's only when I called. (8) So, I called them to set up a date. The wait time was 50 mins. I called once again, this time it was to cancel the order. They didn't offer anything or try to convince me to reconsider; they said sorry though and told me to have a nice day. (9) Moral of the story: this is why people my age don't want to shop in these old school stores. They're outdated and they are so used to have so many customers that they have lost the ambition to help and treat their consumers the right way. That okay though, because this is the last time I step into a Macy's. I cancelled the credit card as well. To say "Disappointed" would be an understatement.

I'm unsure why Macy's offers curbside and doesn't deliver. Look i understand that everyone's doing their best i work retail and never stopped when covid started up. But on Saturday i ordered make up from Mac, i would have just gone in but i didn't know Macy's was open. So i arrive around 6:30pm and i call 3x (pic included) and it kept saying "their busy call back" then a worker came out (short woman with glasses) and i try getting her attention and she ignored that I'm obviously in the "curbside" parking spot and goes back in. So i get my 1 year old sleeping baby out there car and head in. I go up to THE SAME WOMAN and as "I'm here for curbside where do i go" she tells me to STAND IN LINE wow so i do. When it's my turn i told the man helping me "i did curbside so i didn't have to get my sleeping baby out" he didn't even apologize he just continued scanning my bar code. Basically DONT DO CURBSIDE HERE! This malls already crap you'd think they'd try to keep as many customers ask they can.

Conveniently located inside the puente hills mall. I grew up shopping at this Macy's. They have really affordable good ol Made In America brands that i love like leggings and cardigans. Not many MIA brands nowadays. Sure, it's not exceptionally modern/stylish but that's just the way i like it. I like nostalgia because some things shouldn't change. Memories are memories good or bad. At least the people who work here are friendly and helpful not to mention you're in the middle class part of hacienda heights where people of low to middle income reside (surprise poor people gotta shop and eat too surprise) not Beverly hills or south pas or wherever fancy malls and stores are located at. Location/demographics is the key.

I went over to Men's fragrances to exchange a bottle of a perfume I ordered online at Macy's.com and I was dealing with the representative Virginia. She had such a horrible attitude and she was trying to get me to pay again to make an exchange. I showed her my receipt, my online order number, and everything she asked for and she still refused to help me and had a disgusting attitude throughout telling me that I just had bad body chemistry. The bottle was used ONCE and it just didn't last and didn't give off the scent that I got from the sample was the reason why I'm exchanging it, why am I getting such a hard time if the bottle was not used, the receipt is there, and I am exchanging it for the SAME thing, I'm not asking for anything new. When she wouldn't budge, I asked for a manager and the manager said that the exchange was obviously possible and I had all the necessary paperwork for it, so why all the trouble from the beginning?? Bad customer service, bad product and policy knowledge from the Puente Hills Macy's Fragrance department from Virginia.

Macy's Cosmetics and Fragrances Dept. Estée Lauder Beauty Advisor Michelle took the time to identify my skin type and recommended few products and offered me trial samples. After three days, my complexion was noticeable improved. Estée Lauder is one of the most pleasing skin cares and the customer service is personal attention. Highly recommend!

The whole Puente Hills Mall is so dated and no thought is put into the building, which is sad... I come to this mall because it is convenient with the stores that I need to go to, but I sometimes worry that it'll close down because of the lack of foot traffic and care that goes into this place. I tend to do store pick-up and returns here at Macy's because of its location. Customer service can be a hit or a miss. A majority of the time, it's great service, until you get that one person, or two. The first floor is women's clothing and shoes; the second floor is women's purses, cosmetics, and men's clothing; the third floor is home furnishings and luggage. There are both escalators and an elevator in this Macy's. Forewarning of the escalators, they may not be working sometimes. I've purchased a few facial products from Kiehl's and Clinique and the workers have been quite attentive and took the time to answer any questions that I had. Home furnishings used to be my favorite floor with all the different kitchen items that they sold but they have downsized quite a lot. They have even moved the cashier counter from across the kitchen wares to across the elevators, right as one gets off of the escalators as well. Overall, a very convenient location and easy in-store pick-ups. I've never paid my bills here but I have seen customers do that while I was waiting in line. There is always plenty of parking, whether it be on the lower or upper parking lot. On the upper parking lot, MTA buses tend to gather here as well as there is always a line of buses nearby.

Love the cosmetics department at this location, I always get five star treatment and customer service. Unlike other cosmetic or beauty specialty stores where you have to have to wait around or look for someone to assist you, this place knows how to treat their customers right, and they SPECIALIZE in their products.

Get your act together Macy's! Why do you have returns, online pickups, and bill pay all at the same line? And have few staff helping customers? Why do I have to wait for others to return when I only need to pickup my order. Which should not take 30 minutes for me to pick up. No wonder you are going down hill. I just want to get my order and get the hell out of your store and not stand in line for 30 minutes for people to return your crap.
