Brandon, an Energy Consultant was outstanding in supporting me in navigating the HEAP Energy Program. After attempting for a year to get assistance, Brandon was able to move me into a position to get help with paying my utilities and energy bills. I called and spoke with a supervisor during a power outage after a storm and explained to her (can't remember her name) an elderly person who was ill needed their power and the pole damaged has behind his house. She made it happen during a crazy busy time. Thanks for helping someone in need bless your heart . ❤

This the second extended power outage in 8 years. We are heading into day three with the last one lasting one week. I get it: weather happens, but this storm was not a major one — just your average annual whopper. Sounds like there is a systematic failure. If property owners are to blame (because they fail to trim trees near power lines), or there is a significant deficiency with the infrastructure or staffing, SMUD needs to take the initiative to solve the problem. Minus a storm of the decade, SMUD should be able to resolve issues within 24-48 hours. If you are a SMUD customer, buy a generator and keep your flashlights handy. I have lived in CA for 50 years and have never experienced these types of delays until I moved to Sacramento.

I'm absolutely LIVID with SMUD! Day 2 still no power and it's only affecting my house and my neighbor. SMUD lines it's executives pockets with big money while not upgrading its infrastructure. My 91 year old grandmother is freezing while our next door neighbors who are techies and never home all have power. Community non profit my rear end. Shame on you SMUD!

I have been very pleased with SMUD's service over the years. Not that we have many options, but I'm happy we don't have to deal with PG&E!

The customer service staff at the call center are first rate!They are uniformly professional, knowledgeable, personable, and very patient with me.It's always a pleasure talking to them, and they always answer my questions.This is one of the best things about SMUD.

First time calling customer service. Judd was brilliant. Gave his suggestions but went to go check to make sure his advice was correct and if anything was missing. Thats why he gets 5 stars. Overall good customer experience. As a whole company in terms of outages not much different than a corporate giant like PG&E, so really not much complain about, at least not yet

SMUD usually provides good service but my power has gone out for the last three consecutive days! VERY ANNOYING!! I hope they drop the excuses about a blown fuse for three days and get back to providing good service. After all, I don't have a choice for my electric service provider!!

Wondering WHY my bill is more than last year this month when our dryer has been out for the last month and we have been extremely careful about our electricity usage during the higher rate part of the day (5pm-8pm). I second that a lawyer and legal action must be taken immediately because something very fishy is going on here
