Don’t live here. First off, they have roaches. The first night, I saw a roach! I had to ask more than 3 times for them to send a company worker to put in 1 sticky trap. I then had to request an exterminator 3 times before they came ( she said they come by at least every month, and it was over a month between the first and last request). There’s also been an ant infestation with the change in weather, but they don’t come by and exterminate regularly to know. 2nd the front door does not fit the frame, in addition, the door will not stay closed if not locked, which are both definite safety issues. The door to enter one of my bedrooms is always jammed, but a maintenance worker “fixed” it. The glass door was apparently “fixed”, but they both indeed need to be REPLACED. The dish washer, is loose, old, and had a smell when we first opened it. There is also no microwave, or any specific place for you to put one. The washer and dryer take up too much space for the doors to close. Dog poop EVERYWHERE, stray cats EVERYWHERE. The gate to come in is loud and doesn’t seem secure, and they just fixed it. Lastly, you’ll have to park far most days because if you have more than one car, you won’t get a reserved parking spot and be put on the “waiting list”. Overall, the apartment building is just old, a lot of the crevices are cracking… and the woman that sits on the left in the leasing office, has NEVER not had an attitude with me, (after reading many reviews, she’s RACIST to people of color, every review from people of color says this, within the last year) as if my complaints are not valid.. it seems that, that not only are they taking advantage of this place being low income, but after looking at other reviews, their workers are also being discriminatory. You can find something much better( maybe w/o bugs) for the price!! My original post was deleted, and we have been somewhat harassed through extra payments on rent and flyer was sent out to only OUR building about smoking. The post said that they would be forced to come see who was smoking, and I’m almost sure they came into my home while I was away in Thanksgiving. EVERYTHING in the buildings are not well up together, and the measurements are all off. 1 extra star because the leasing lady was really sweet. If you can live somewhere else do that, because they add costs whenever they please, I’m sure if you can afford this, you can afford an actual luxury apartment for a good price. This is my 2nd time editing this post, because it keeps getting worse. Still no response.

Overall the neighborhood is quiet. The maintenance workers are helpful and super nice. However, front desk is not the best. When we left they used up all $900 of our security deposit to “clean” the apartment and to “clean the carpet” which is funny because we left that place as clean as we could and one of the two bedroom rooms we didn’t even end up using, so how the carpet was dirty was beyond me. They would randomly charge me at times and I would send a message to the front desk and wouldn’t get a reply sometimes. So I would have to go in person. And when they realize there was a mistake they would deduct it from my rent BUT it was annoying since I needed the money for something else like food at the time instead of it being deducted from my rent at the end of the month. Additionally THIS PLACE IS ROACH INFESTED. We have never had roaches until we got here. And we had to clean our things as well as we could. We saw this when we first moved it and we told the front office. They said they would send someone out and they never did. I know because I was waiting for them all day and no one came. And so we had to live like this for a year. Additionally, the water pressure is horrible only get a small stream of water out and I asked maintenance if this could be fixed and they said no. Useless trash pick up service that thy wanted to add a charge for and asked if we could not participate since we can literally walk our own trash and they said no. I just would not recommend living here. Not worth the money.

I love this place so much! I’ve been here a few months now and honestly I love it. The unit was very clean. The leasing office is fantastic and the communication was amazing! Maintenance I honestly cannot say enough good things about! They’re super nice and very good at getting things fixed as soon as possible. My move in was very easy and I had honestly the best experience. They got us in super quickly after a nightmare experience at another complex and honestly I’m super grateful I got in here when I did.

Love it here! I’ve lived at the Luxe for 2 years and my experience has been great. The layout of the townhomes are very cozy and spacious. I also love that the complex is located in a prime location surrounded by many essential stores, restaurant, ect. The staff is also very helpful.

The staff here is amazing. Always so helpful whenever there's an issue. It's definitely the kind of place where you can tell real people are involved and they care about their tenants and the day to day operations. I couldn't be happier during my time at these apartments. It's definitely a great place to call home.

This place is the best place. No one touches my trucks, and I have a classic car. The management is amazing and helped me quickly move in from a bad complex. There are no bugs, and valet trash is awesome and keeps our trash under wraps. When something breaks, maintenance is automatically on it. My best friend also lives in this complex, and we have not had any issues.

DO NOT live at The Luxe under any circumstances! I dealt with Greystar and this horrible property for 15 months and it was a headache from the day I moved in to after I moved out. I needed to move to Sacramento quickly for a job, and went with the Luxe because they claimed to have a renovated townhome available in my price range that met my needs. And while the photos on the website looked decent enough, they claimed they couldn’t FaceTime me to walk me through the unit I would be getting, so I had to sign without seeing it myself. When I moved in, not only was the apartment not ready to be leased, but there were basic repairs and cleaning that hadn’t been done. There was trash on the back patio, a dirty backsplash above the oven, chipped paint on the railing, a crack in the tub, and smoke damage on the bedroom doors, among other fixes. The problems with the unit, The Luxe, and Greystar only grew from there. During the time I lived at The Luxe, I had numerous issues including, but not limited to: poorly installed doors that had to be repaired and replaced multiple times because they repeatedly installed them wrong, a leak in my living room ceiling due to a poorly installed toilet on the top floor, a shower that shrunk in size after they covered the crack with the wrong size replacement, brown water coming out of my tub faucet after that repair (that their staff actually tried to convince me was normal!), a constantly overgrown patio and outdoor area due to poor weed treatment which rendered the space unusable, repeated bug issues, excessive dog poop from folks not picking up after their dogs, stray cats, and car break-ins. The stray cats were so bad at a point that my partner had to get a neighbor and Animal Control to help coax a cat out from underneath her car and another kitten was later found deceased. Management was a revolving door, so even trying to get the initial repairs done that I had told them about on move-in day took months to complete correctly, and often had to be repeatedly fixed. Living at The Luxe was a complete nightmare from start to finish, and I would never rent from a Greystar-managed property again. Even after move out, they use silly excuses like having to “scrub” the $2 drip pan on the stove to automatically charge a “heavy cleaning fee”, charging for a full carpet replacement because there are “dents” in the carpet from furniture (that would be easily removed with a carpet cleaner), and adding unexplained charges to try to scam you out of as much money as possible. The maintenance team was nice and tried to do what they could given the low resources they had, but the price of the “renovated” unit is ABSOLUTELY not worth what you get or the headache that comes with it. There are better properties and property management companies to rent with in the Sacramento area. I really hope this review helps someone not make the same mistake I did, especially if you’re unable to visit the property in person.
