The cookies and desserts that the students make and sell in the gift shop are soooooooo GOOD!
I posted those as the first photo.
The history of the building is in wikipedia, and eventually this building was sold to The Culinary Institute of America 10 % of its value, because it needed 50 million in seismic retrofits.
The Ghirardelli bakery Cafe will open in September and the restaurant is set up in the carriage house, where the students cook and serve the customers.

CIA’s the type of school that would rather let you sleep on the ground in a park then to return a day early from campus, the dean has no care for the students and that is often known by the students, ask almost any cia student and they would all say the same thing, the dean is horrible. While the school is promising for college and has a great curriculum and chefs , leave it up to one person in the faculty to ruin it for everyone

Celeste Peralez was a super unprofessional Chef. She blocked me on instagram while I was still in her class and was focused mainly on social validation. I also had to live with cockroaches and when I asked to move I couldn’t because they “already laid their eggs” on our stuff. Very gross for a culinary school that caters to the public.

Excellent place to stop by for a quick brunch. Amazing patisserie and deli items at an affordable price. Ingredients are fresh and some come directly from their garden. Great service. Nice gift shop. Plenty of parking. Beautiful campus in the heart of wine country.

Recent memorable Gatehouse dinner with intriguing menu choices and wine pairing impeccably served by a diverse group of exceptional students graduating April 19th with whom we conversed about their culinary education and future plans. Indeed pricey in a warm intimate environment, but definitely worth the experience in meeting future chefs of the next generation. It was an invigorating evening as patrons traveled far and near to support the Culinary Institute and its graduates at this beautiful historic site! (:

Well the building is amazing The stone structure is probably one of the most beautiful buildings in California and a teaching and skills that you learn from the school is world know as one the best . I've only eaten here one time never seen to get there when I could have lunch but many my friends I said it's one of the best reasonable best food you're going to get anywhere
