This is a neighborhood Mom & Pop operation. I've been using them on and off when I moved to San Anselmo 7 years ago. I mainly use them for alterations (ie: jeans, dresses, etc.) and they do a good job for a reasonable price. If you have high end clothes that need TLC, I wouldn't recommend M & R. However, for your basic dry cleaning, they are reliable!

This is a great family-run business. They are excellent at dry cleaning, laundry, and pressing. And, the tailoring work is expert. Don't let the cluttered appearance of the changing area put you off. The work is top-notch. We've been coming here for 20+ years and have never had any problems. Everything is professional and the prices are very reasonable.

Walk in. Ask if they can clean my waxed jeans without ruining the wax. They said yeah so I trust them. Come to pick them up find out not only did they absolutely ruin the waxing but they also discolored the jeans and ruined the original fit of them. Absolute trash dry cleaner

I'm not sure who the other ten reviews are from that gave high scores. This was the third time I used them and the third time my $400 shirts look like they came out of the dryer. Plus their turn around time is a week. I would not recommend

Unbelievably great! My mother's group of friends in Marin all agreed that M& R was the best in Marin. However, I had no idea that they would become like family. They go the extra mile -- actually marathon - such as when we need a rush, they find a way. When I have to pick up after hours, they found a way for that, too. They are right at the HUB, and tucked away near a string of gyms, and cleaning is a lost art -- except they never lost it and could not be more helpful, responsive! Extraordinary service and wonderful people!

M&R Cleaners is the kind of hometown "Mom 'n Pop" business that I love to patronize. It's so nice when local residents invest in a business, and therefore the community. M&R has been here for decades! I love taking my shirts there for their "folded" shirt service. When I travel I love to get there with shirts that are perfectly ironed, fresh, and ready to upgrade my look. M&R affords me that option, at a great price, the best price around... I've checked! That's just my favorite thing, but the whole service is top-notch! From the friendly smile and warm welcome, to the crisp clean clothes delivered on time, every time.
