Everything went well. Customer service representative friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Only couple minor detractors for 1 star were: 1) office is small and hidden on side of a banquet room, needed to ask site grounds employee where office was 2) no shuttle 3) car windshield dirty inside car

If I could give it 0 Stars I would. I went to pick up my rental to find out that they didn't have a mini van available. I asked for something comparable (needed room for 6 passengers) he said he had nothing and told me to figure it out. I asked if he could assist he said no. I was on the phone with Budget and had to pay and additional +$200 to get a new rental and get a ride back to the airport. DON'T waste your time or money!!

Do NOT use this location - even if it's cheaper than the airport. My elderly parents have rented a car here twice. Both times the cars were dirty inside and out and both had safety issues - First time renting here the oil light came on a day into their trip and they had to buy motor oil to put in the car. Second time they were given a car with a patched tire that was leaking air. Budget corporate sent a tow truck and took the car away. A month later the manager from this location, Raoul, called to ask when my parents planned to return the car. Terrible communication between this small closet office and corporate and when we did manage to reach someone at this branch about the flat tire, their answer was "we can't help you, call corporate".Renter beware!

This location is adjacent to the lobby of the Town and Country resort in Mission Valley. I made an online reservation for a one-day rental of a 7 passenger SUV and opted to upgrade at the owners recommendation to a Jeep Wagoneer. While the vehicle was very roomy and able to comfortably accommodate all passengers, I let the owners son know upon return that it could have used a proper cleaning beforehand as there was sunflower seeds, dust and dirt on the interior and the exterior was filthy. He seemed less concerned about that and more about where to park.Initially, he asked me to park it in the garage because they were "short staffed". I politely declined and proceeded with the return, which was successful or so I thought. I pre-paid for the rental online via the Budget app on 11/6. When I completed the reso in person, I was charged in full amount again, plus the upgrade. I made Budget aware on 11/28 and was told I would be refunded for the initial charge made online on 11/6. Today, I placed a follow up call to the location and the owner only could tell me that he can't see pre payments made online. So, okay.....now what? As a business owner, I expect to be given a solution. He became argumentative when I asked him what I was supposed to do, and after going back and forth he finally providing me with the number to customer service. If you're a business owner, act like one. Take ownership and initiate problem solving skills-none of that happened. Invest in modernizing your office to have visibility of online payments made. His office and "technology" are severely outdated/aged and their inventory was limited. When I phoned customer service today I was told again that my refund will be issued in 72 hours. Apparently the case number I was given on 11/28 was never processed. Budget may have had the best price but save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

HORRIBLE customer service. I called first thing in the morning to confirm my reservation and was told everything was fine. Arrived at my reservation time and there were other people there to pick up their rentals as well. We were all told there were no cars and that we just had to sit and wait an unspecified amount of time, because they had no idea when cars would arrive. When I asked to speak to a manager, the person said there was no manager there. When I asked to have the manager called, the person ("Francisco") said he would NOT call RAUL AMES (the manager) and that I should call the customer service line if I have a problem with what he's doing. He gave me a business card for Raul the manager, but said "Don't call the number on his business card, because it's just the number here". Luckily, I booked through Costco, so they will find a resolution eventually (been on a call for over an hour so far). But coming all this way...just to be stranded and HORRIBLY spoken to...when all these people had to do was call this morning and say "I know you have a reservation today, but we don't have any vehicles at this location"...and let me figure out how to proceed with either booking somewhere else or canceling all together...is UNACCEPTABLE. They need to shut this location down (Hotel Circle Town & Country) and provide CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING to any employees who remain employed after I'm done here.

Very rude charged me 750 for a 2 day rental. Don't rent from this location . They aren't legit. Won't give you any info, they lie about everything. They were prepaid and still charged my visa debt 530 dllrs. They stole my money, and treated me rude. They should be shut down. They are crooks Raul Ames if thats the real name said he was Francisco , such lie and deceit. Owner is always on vacations....

I reserved a car rental, however when I got to the location to pick it up they said they had no cars available. They told me they weren’t sure why they reserved it for this location. I than called budget to figure out what was going on. Budget was not helpful at all and told me they must have overbooked. I asked if they had any other cars in the area, they told me that there’s some at the airport but told me they would not honor the price I reserved for and it would cost more. They also told me they couldn’t guarantee that a car would be available when I got there. I didn’t even try to go to airport to rent from them. I waisted 40 dollars on a Lyft to get to this rental location and back, I asked if they could at least reimburse me on the money and time I wasted. They offered nothing for my inconvenience.Budget is the worst car rental company, I would avoid them at all costs.

I am currently waiting at an empty desk for my 9 am pick up time. It is currently 9:12. Great service ?***EditI still give the experience one star, but the gentleman was very helpful once he showed up. Sadly, the reason he was taking so long was because he was cleaning our car for us. He came back with dirty paper towels in his hand and when I got up to the car you could tell it was recently cleaned inside and the windows. I also saw a couple of bottles next to the car. This should never happen. To have one employee doing all of this is ridiculous. To not have clean cars ready to go in the morning is ridiculous.

Very hard to find. Didn't indicate that the building was under construction and not visible from the street. I nearly missed my pickup before the place closed. The vehicle was very nice, lots of bells and whistles. Very good on gas

The old guy over here doesn't know how to do his job and he doesn't want to help you. I just had the worst experience ever. He made me come back with more documents like SSN and wouldn't even be courteous enough to not look at the number. He still wasn't able to finish the process of giving me the car I booked already and paid for the insurance as well! Finally I had to leave the place because he wouldn't help me out in any way or call someone else to help.
