Worst experience I ever had with enterprise came from renting here, I have been renting for years and after my experience here they will never get my business ever again.I made my reservation two months in advance and when I got there I decided to upgrade the rental. However, I noticed that the lady did not upgrade the dates instead she created a new reservation with the wrong dates. I called enterprise and couldn’t get a hold of their office instead I was xfer to their customer service line which told me that it’s going to be at a higher rate if I extended and if it’s an error when I return the rental I would need to show the original reservation with the correct dates to get the actual rate I was supposed to have.Then when I returned the vehicle I accidentally left my AirPods in the vehicle while I went to the desk to handle the date issue I have had a few days prior. After they adjusted the rates I went to the airport for my flight and realized I didn’t have them and came immediately back for them. I think the managers name is Robert that day and he was disgusting! When I got back he sat at the computer for 3 minutes before he asked me if I needed assistance. Once I told him I left my headphones he continued what he was doing for another few minutes before he went to look for them. I waited in total 45 minutes while he “claimed to check” he never once apologized for the wait, I even asked another person there on the status because he took a long time and I already explained I have a flight. When he came back he said he didn’t find it and that enterprise isn’t response for anything left in the vehicle, I was really upset because I know exactly where I left them and that I felt one of their workers had taken them. He didn’t even apologize for the wait, the experience, or anything and I expressed to them I’m going to take the issue higher, and he said “okay” and walked off.Never have I been treated with such disregard and a total lack of customer service, total lack of decency, and blatant rudeness ever and I felt disrespected and humiliated. You guys will not have my money anymore! EVER!

I am a frequent traveller and I rent cars all of the time. I rent from Avis, Enterprise, Hertz or other local agencies, depending which company offers the best value.In all these many years, I have had only two major issues and they both happen to be at this location. Once, I booked a minivan, after many frustrating phone calls, the rental car (a 7-seater) was unavailable when I arrived. They offered me a truck! The second time, an hour before my reservation, I received a phone call from Shaun, quite a rude fella, that all they had was a 5-seater (again a truck) although I had reserved a 7-seater. After a few frustrating phone calls, I had to go to National City to get a minivan. This location is terrible, I would avoid it!

I had the worst experience I will never be renting a car through this company ever I flew into town all the way from Atlanta to San Diego of a passing of my grandma. I’m lost for words I definitely will take my bad experiences to a higher level of management with the company. This is one customer that want be returning the way my family and I was treated during this tragic time of our life was so disappointed. I’ll definitely will stick to myUsually (AVIS).

I'm a little irritated today because when I got here, they did not have a car ready even though I made my appointment for 10. I walked down here so it took me a little longer but that doesn't mean give my car away because I'm a few minutes late. The guy tells me I can either pay more for a different car or wait to have one cleaned. I'm guessing they gave my reservation to the people before me who hit un a car. Unacceptable!!! Next time get the car ready and put it aside. I don't want to hear anymore excuses. Next time I'll go next door to Nucar if they can't get it together over here!!!Update: I called to complain to the manager and she did step in to help my situation. We came to an agreement on how to make it up to me so I really appreciated her. The first time I rented from here, my car was ready to go with no problems and super clean. Granted they are a little slow to welcome someone but I was happy with my first experience just not the second time. I'm updating my review to 3 stars.

Everything was going fine with this rentalBut we couldn't open the trunk. Lauren delivered car. Great job. Security Guard at exit wonderful and asked to verify we were happy.Remote didn't work to open trunk.Walked in to front lobby and explained issue to Sam. She was useless told me to look it up in internet. She wasn't busy. Just sitting there. No customers. She should seek a new career.Would have been 5 star without Sam.

I debated on writing this for a few days now. First off let's start by saying how I will never make the accident of booking through this location ever. By mistake I booked the wrong location as it wasn't part of the SD airport so I have to take a taxi there, which wasn't the big deal. I then arrive and was greeted by a gentlemen who's name I forgot. But EMILY! I do remember. She was not charming, horrible body language, just made you feel like I wish I signed these papers and just leave! We start to go over the vehicle and I asked about marks and scratches. She seemed annoyed at the question. I just wanted to be sure I'm not getting in trouble nor gonna get charged. As we come along to the passenger side of the vehicle, I clearly see two longer strips of what looks like scuffs from running into a pole or something. She then decides as a trained professional in her position to rub the damn mark WITH HER FOOT MULTIPLE TIMES! Only rubbing the white mark all over the car to prove it wasn't a dent or anything. I said great now it's just dirty. She then asked me to get in and turn the vehicle on to check the miles and so forth. I see the gas is Below half. I have never been in a car that wasnt filled up, so I just I was just shocked I then asked her is this how it goes I rent with no gas and return it with no gas. Being the sassy attendant she was, she rolled her eyes and said what do you want us to go fill it to half we could do that. Hell no I didn't want to be stuck on that lot any longer. Then looking in the back, there were shields and the seats were down. Like who the hell prepped this vehicle: they didn't want to exchange it for me. They just took the shield out and pretty much went over paper and sent me on my way. They didn't bother to put the seats up and have the vehicle ready at all. I left the lot pulled over and did it my damn sShe then was alarmed when I asked her if she could repeat her name. Her voice quivered she knew something was wrong. Yes her in her position, the professionalism at this location, I could go on. This place is absolutely horrible and will never go there again. I travel often to SD they are just the absolute worst! Don't go here

Wow if I could give Enterprise a NEGATIVE5 I would. They gave me a reservation number, had everything lined up for me to rent when I dropped my car off at the collision repair. Then, when the collision repair place calls to ask them where they are they say I am on a list of not allowed to rent. Enterprise gives me a customer service number to call:877-516-3877. Disconnected. That number gives me another number who connects me to ANOTHER department that is closed until tomorrow. I call the little Italy location where the mistake began and they say "we are really sorry mam. There is nothing we can do for you. "

Horrible Service. I've never waited so long for a rental car in my life. Service attendants were not helpful. As we were about to get our car the attendant spent 10 minutes insisting we get renters insurance even though I brought proof of my car rental insurance through my own provider. She was not considerate even after we told her we were in a rush. I would not recommend this location.

Terrible.1. Paid to rent a Nissan Maxima or similar. They gave me a Ford Taurus.2.The car had obviously not been cleaned inside or out.3. 10 minutes after renting the car the low tire pressure light came on, so I had to stop at a gas station and air the tire up.4. Just returned the car and they charged me for 5 gallons of gas. I refueled the car completely 5 minutes before I returned it.Do not use Enterprise. Terrible experience.

Started coming to this place after Covid closed my preferred location. The wait times here are always pretty terrible. The first couple of times I thought they were slammed or just understaffed, but I've come to realize this is just always the case here. There was a line when I arrived and four parties behind me when I left. A couple employees can be seen just kinda standing around. Had a 4pm reservation and only now just got handed the keys at 4:42pm. On top of that, they don't seem to be very safe in regards to, you know, the entire pandemic we are currently in. Two employees weren't wearing masks, one kept letting the mask slip under their nose, and a third employee let two unmasked customers in his car while he shuttled them to their location. I don't feel safe coming here and probably won't use this location again if there are other locations available.

I got conflicting emails, messages and responses. It's like their internal communication is nonexistent. A company that decides that a few extra dollars is worth lying to a customer and giving bad service deserves to fail. They've taken the path and it's only a matter of time. Customer service is ALWAYS what sets competitors apart. Enterprise will probably realize that when it's too late. Never again!

Worst customer service. Got a call from the van pick up guy asking not so nicely where I was. Told him I would be there at 11 as promised. I was and luckily he was too. Had an appointment with Enterprise. Paid for by insurance. When I got there I was put in the waiting line behind 5 other people. Clearly car is not ready as promised. I called to confirm. Confirmed again one hour before I got here. Still waiting. Been almost an hour. Guess that is what you get when insurance companies choose who you get. I certainly would not choose them. Update: took a little over an hour. Matt was great having to apologize to everyone for the delays. And gave a gift of extra gas. Made things a little better.

I had a positive experience with this Enterprise location when I went to the Grand Canyon in June. They picked me up but when I arrived they had no SUVs though I'd reserved one earlier. They said I could wait a bit for one to be returned and cleaned up or they'd upgrade me to another vehicle. They offered my pick of the lot other than the Range Rover and suggested a brand new minivan. I decided to take it after learning it would be better on gas and it wouldn't have any problem in the mountains. Besides, it had much more room without being too huge.It's a good thing, because we ended up camping in it a couple nights! I'm so happy we had that experience. We were able to sleep under the stars at a campground at the Grand Canyon park and it was a truly incredible trip.I took the insurance since I don't own a vehicle currently. There were no problems with the vehicle and no unexpected charges or fees. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I was able to easily extend the rental an extra day when I called. I wasn't able to do that through the text system they use. My only complaint was that it was just a bit difficult to return the vehicle. Due to covid, some locations are closed or understaffed or something and I think it was just past the closing time of this location. I had to return it to the airport location but no one told me where that was and it took a minute to find it and to figure out where to enter (lol). But then the weirdest part was that I couldn't get a ride home and there were no Ubers around, I couldn't even order one! That may be because I live just a couple miles away but I wasn't sure how to get home and was exhausted from the trip! I finally was able to get a Lyft. Things are strange in the time of covid-19!

Sean Finney and the team at this branch are amazing! This review is overdue, however, we rented a one way SUV to drop off in Reno about two weeks ago. The branch was busy, there were people waiting, and we had to get to an appointment that we couldn't be late to. Sean and his team kept us informed throughout the process and let us know exactly when we could be on the road to our appointment. Not only that, he made his promise a reality and we made it to the appointment on time and the branch asked what they could do to make up for the wait. I would definitely recommend the location and we will be back.

Great Experience. On monday 6/22 We had to rent a mini van last minute because another rental company Ace, right next door, was soooooooooo bad.( you can read the review I left) We arrived around 5ish and we were out the door by 6pm. Very nice new clean vehicle. Even though we were a walk in last minute we weren't totally price gauged. The man at the counter outside was awesome. So very thankful for this great experience.

We picked up our car and it was clean and ready. My husband pointed out damage on the car, Sebastian told us the damage had already been repaired and painted. Upon returning the car a couple days later the employee at drop off said the car was damaged by us. This location is so shady. They refused to allow us to speak to the original employee. We refused to sign a document of fault and filled out an incident report. A couple of weeks later we receive a claim from them asking for $800. The manager at the location will not return our calls and corporate who handles claims won’t make any changes to our claim unless the location will answer and discuss this. We have found out the car was rented after us by other individuals before repairs through another employee on the phone. We have a voice recording of her saying there is no damage recorded from our rental. However we keep getting calls and letters from Enterprise claim division saying “we haven’t heard from you regarding your claim.” We are a nice family with small children who saved for this vacation. We took excellent care of the vehicle and now we have to find a way to pay for their mistake as no employee from the branch in San Diego airport will return our calls. We are so disappointed about this whole situation and how poorly they treat their customers.

The worst customer service Ever. Multiple times I been treated like complete trash. Looked down upon, yelled at, and offered 0 assistance. Representatives are rude and unwilling to help. The dude raised his voice and told me to leave today. What kind of service is that?

Friendly staff, quick in and out. But the vehicle we got was filthy. There was dirt all throughout. The most concerning thing is that it is evident that nobody took the time to clean the inside. And especially during this COVID-19 pandemic, I would expect that a company like enterprise would take the necessary steps to protect their customers.

Have rented from here twice. Both times the cars are terribly dirty. Smells. Not vacuumed out. Especially right now with covid. Nothing was wiped or cleaned. I have always been an enterprise girl but now 2 times in a row has me looking else where.

Overall it was a good experience and I was completely satisfied due to the check out process with Joe. He was very professional and courteous when listening to what occurred during check out and while I had my rental. At checkout the vehicle was filthy inside and outside and I actually went and got it detailed so it would look good while I was driving it in San Diego. Day 5 I got a call saying the vehicle had been sold and for me to bring it in. Luckily after some convincing Enterprise allowed me to keep it two more days when my rental was due anyway.

Great first time service from this office (normally I go to their East Village facility). But for Sunday hours these folks open until 6 pm, so I could pick up a car for early Monday trip. BEST thing was bringing the car back Monday I was sweating arriving by their 6 PM close time (and getting charges an extra day). So called them from the road when stuck in traffic and the great gal over the phone mentioned that they normally stay until about 6:10 pm for stragglers like me. It worked out fantastic....and I also learned I can pickup at my normal East Village location and then return here (or vice-versa) with no problems.

Reserve a vehicle 3 months in advance because my family and I wanted to get a decent rig! 3 MONTHS and when I show up I'm told they don't have anything in that class. Now I am an understanding person, things happen, but they said this like it was no big deal, and it happens all the time. I will 100% never use them again.

The customer service was beyond outstanding! I have rented from this location, numerous times, for many years. If there is an upgrade available, they offer it to me at no additional charge. In my most recent rental, I was unable to return the car on time with the appropriate gas level. (I was having vertigo and couldn't safely drive the car.) My adult son returned it a few hours late, explained the situation and their response was overwhelmingly outstanding. They didn't charge me for an extra day, and only charged me for two of the three gallons of gas I should have filled up the car with. I already have two more rentals planned with them and will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

Isaiah helped us out on a last minute booking and was SO helpful. We got an awesome car for our week in San Diego and everything worked out perfect. I would highly recommend this location to rent from. Cheaper than the airport location without airport taxes, less of a hassle, and a super quick / cheap Uber ride. Made our trip so easy!
