Walk in to add a driver, they say we’ll be with you in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, one person is sitting at the desk with a phone to her ear, the other never comes back. Just tell us you can’t help instead of wasting our time.

Had booked and payed upfront. Upon arrival/pick-up it was time for the security deposit and - surprise - my prepaid credit card was refused. Even though it was good enough for the upfront payment. Debit cards also refused. Issue nowhere to be found in the contract. Finally I left without a car but still had to pay the first three days of rental/insurance because of "last minute cancellation". This together with additional hotel costs and Uber I lost several hundred $. Not even speakìng of all the stress and lost vacation day. Not blaming the staff, he was was really trying to help, but the system is absolutely unacceptable. Great way to make money without providing service. Hertz lost a customer for good.

I wouldn't usually write a review for a car rental facility, but John the manager at the Hertz in the Marvin K Brown is great! Seriously, he's a stand up guy who tries his best to accommodate. I had a rental through my insurance and he was a pleasure to deal with. He helped procure the kind of vehicle I needed and helped with extending the rental and sending me the rental agreement when I needed it again. 10/10 experience, thanks John.

Slowest service you can ever have at a hertz location?And I am not blaming the one person team that was there cuz they could only do so much. I blame the management for assigning only one person in such a busy day

AC not working in rental vehicle. Voicemail isn’t set up to leave message. Corporate phone also doesn’t have option to speak with agent to replace AC-broken rental.

One of the worst HLE locations I’ve experienced. Only 1 employee staffed, so the wait is forever, regardless of time, even early in the morning. 45 minutes to pick up my car. 30 minutes wait to drop off. Pretty ridiculous. Once it’s your turn, the staff are nice. Old, worn cars tho.

I was rented a car here because my truck is being worked on at courtesy Chevrolet( also a headache), so idk if the level of urgency goes down/quality of service changes due to this reason but I picked up my reservation yesterday Friday 3/24 at around 330 they gave me a black Nissan Altima, at first when I got in the vehicle it had a weird moldy smell, I left in hopes the smell would go away after rolling the windows down, but NO the smell is so pungent even after the windows down. I came first thing in the morning 3/25 and all “John “ could tell me is that he didn’t kno why the hertz employee from the day before would rent the vehicle. Then proceeded to tell me that they have no other cars and I would have to wait till he got more in, but on Saturday’s they close at 12pm and Sunday they are closed. So I’m left with this vehicle that could potentially harm my health with MOLD POISONING.

I really don't understand any poor reviews here as I use this Hertz location often and have had fantastic results. There's one reason I have to point out this Hertz location at Marvin Brown auto dealership gets a full five star rating and his name is John Doucette who is the manager there I believe.On multiple occasions I've rented here and he has been nothing but super positive and super helpful in making sure my experience is solid.I wish more Hertz had managers like him. There are no blockers to making the customer happy with this guy.John ... I hope this review helps you get a raise!! You deserve it.

I picked up a rental car from Hertz on August 8th, with a weekly rental rate. When I inquired if I would be due a refund if I returned the vehicle early, the agent on duty, Jorge, assured me that I would. When I returned the car a few days later, the agent on duty at the rental car return at the airport also assured me that I would be credited a refund promptly. To date, September 20th, I have received no refund and repeated attempts to contact Hertz by phone or email have resulted in being routed to overseas call centers, and a lot of subterfuge, but no satisfactory result. Service is certainly lacking here, and as a long time customer of theirs, I will be taking my future business, and that of my friends, elsewhere. Gerald S.
