My daughter attended MCD Montessori for 3 years, and I cannot recommend this school enough! From the very beginning, the staff showed a high level of professionalism, care, and dedication to every child’s individual growth. From Mrs.Abi, Ms.Gail, Ms.Andrea, Ms. Yahaira, and Ms. Anahis all did an amazing job!
The environment is nurturing, calm, and beautifully structured to support learning through independence and curiosity. The teachers are incredibly attentive and truly understand how to guide children in a way that builds confidence and a love for learning.
As a parent, I always felt welcomed and informed. Communication was clear, and I could see the impact of the Montessori method in my daughter’s development both academically and socially.
MCD is a place where children are respected, supported, and encouraged to thrive — I’m so grateful for the time my daughter spent there. Highly recommend!

enrolling our kid in MCD was one of the best decisions we made. our kid started out super shy at the age of 2 and barely talking to a now confident 4 yr old kid. all thanks to the teachers in this school- ms yaijara, ms gail , ms andrea and ms abi. they managed to build a second home for the kids where they felt safe and well loved. the teachers didn’t just treat the kids as students, they were family. it’s rare to find and trust a place like that. i will always be grateful for all the love and guidance they provided to my child. if it weren’t for schedule conflict with work we would have kept our boy here until kinder. if you’re looking for a school where your kid will feel safe , a home away from their home, this is the place .

We joined the Montessori Child Development family over 10 years ago. To say this school and its director, Ms. Abi, have made an impact on our family and children's development is the biggest understatement. My 1st son joined w/ 6 months remaining in his pre-k year. He was diagnosed with ADHD and was clearly struggling. W/in 3 months of joining this school, he had learned his colors, how to count, and the tools needed to find his way back to focus. He stayed on for kindergarten as well, and was sent off to OVH more prepared than any other pre-k would have sent him. 3 years later, our youngest joined. He was with Ms. Abi for about 3-4 years before he too, moved on to OVH. Given that he had more time to develop his skills and learn the tools/habits to succeed, he was sent off to 1st grade in OVH with a head start. While most of his classmates were still in the learning to read phase, he was starting longer comics books (boys will be boys). He is in 4th grade now, and continues to be in the top 3 students in class every year. He even won his class' spelling bee this year! If you are hesitant about touring the school - just do it! Your child will not only be taught the tools to be successful- you will gain lifelong friendships with the director and teachers.

Montessori Child Development has provided exceptional experiences for our child. Our son started when he’s just 18 months until 4 and had a wonderful time, learning Spanish in addition, developing academic readiness, and really enjoying the opportunity to learn new things at school. They have helped my son develop self esteem and self-confidence. Teachers are all amazing! We definitely felt the love and care that is hard to look for, from the Director Ms. Abi and to all her staff Ms. Yahaira, Ms. Gail and Ms. Anahis. They are all amazing individuals. We are so grateful that we have found this school.
We highly recommend Montessori Child Development to parents looking for a high quality, high care and safe environment for their children.

Such an amazing school. This was my daughter’s first school. She was always cared for at home with people she knew. So, this was a new experience for her and I. She was so nervous the first few months. but the staff made her feel so comfortable there. She didn’t want to leave after graduation. They have such an amazing staff. If my daughter could stay there till the end of elementary school, I would have kept her there. We had such a good experience with MCD. She learned so much being there. She picked up some Spanish phrases. I followed their suggestion to continue her education with a second language. my daughter is enrolled in a dual immersion program. I highly recommend enrolling your child with MCD.

My sons attended Montessori Child Development for almost 2 years. I truly recommend this place if you’re looking for a safe daycare/preschool with a Montessori curriculum. Since the very beginning I felt such a welcoming environment, and all my questions and concerns would always be answered. Ms. Abi is such a sweet and caring Director with great communication and I can say the same about all teachers, they all made sure to help both my sons grow in their education and development. I will forever be thankful for them and the service of care they provided to both my sons.

MCD is a great bilingual daycare/preschool. The director, Ms. Abigail, reminds me of Miss. Honey from the movie "Matilda", she is a lovely person. She has a very good curriculum and staff. Ms. Hilda is a great teacher. My son learned everything he needed to be ready for kindergarten: letters, numbers, phonics, reading basics, etc. He also learned to share, be kind, independent and polite. We made a good team with them to help my son learn and develop new skills and abilities. My kid started when he was 18 months and left when it was time to start Kindergarten. He learned very much and had a lot of fun with the activities. He still says he misses preschool and his little friends. It was a very good investment because we are completely satisfied with the result. We are eagerly waiting for our baby to grow and start preschool with them. To Ms. Abi, Ms. Hilda, Ms. Claudia and all the staff that were part of my son's education while he was at MCD, I can only say I am very greatful.MCD es una muy buena guardería/preescolar. La directora Abigail, me recuerda a Miss. Miel de la película Matilda, es un amor. Dirige el plantel con muy buenas reglas y tiene un muy buen personal. Ms. Hilda es una gran maestra con la que mi hijo aprendió todo lo necesario para estar listo para el kinder: letras, números, sonidos, inicio a la lectura, etc. También aprendió a desarrollar cualidades tales como ser generoso, amable, independiente y educado en su entorno. Entre ellas y nosostors como papás, hicimos buen equipo en la formación de mi hijo para que desarrollara dichas cualidades y conocimientos. Mi hijo entró cuando tenía dieciocho meses y lo tuvimos ahí hasta el año pasado que entró a Kinder. Aprendió mucho y se divertía con las actividades que hacían a diario. Aún sigue extrañando preescolar y a sus amiguitos. Fue una muy buena inversión pues nosotros estamos muy felices con los resultados y esperamos tener a nuestra hija con ellas cuando llegue a la edad necesaria para entrar. A Ms. Abi, Ms. Hilda, Ms. Claudia y demás personas que contribuyeron en la educación de mi hijo mientras estuvo en MCD, solo puedo decir que estoy muy agradecida.

Before choosing this Preschool I read reviews and took several tours at various schools. When I called Abi I was taken back at how pleasant she was over the phone. She explained everything in great detail and listened attentively to my concerns and wish list in a preschool. I decided to tour the school and found she didn’t give tours during school hours both to pretect the children and give us undivided attention. She impressed me to be a very caring, honest, organized and disciplined person. It was those first few impressions of Abi that put me at ease when it came time to drop off my first child.Until my child became comfortable in this new environment, I received daily updates and always felt included in the school day. As time passed, my child began to blossom before our eyes. Academically and socially, we witnessed a burst of positive development and a lust for learning. We were so happy with this school and our child’s progress that the following year we enrolled our second child. After 3 years, both our boys graduated preschool and we’re ready for Kindergarten. Both able to read, write very well and strong in math. In the time we were at this preschool we have had the pleasure of getting to know Ms. Claudia, who is super sweet and very creative. Ms. Hilda who my kids all adore and who was instrumental in overcoming “selective eater” challenges. And Ms. Abi who not only is the Director hiring all these fantastic teachers but who is a gifted educator. She speaks to the children with tenderness and kindness. She explains things in a way they understand and reinforces a constants message that each one is unique and deserving of love. Your child’s confidence grows each day. We feel blessed to have found this preschool and credit our sons’ current successes in elementary school to the solid foundation they received at Montessori Child Development formerly Safari Preschool.

Choosing this school is one of the few mommy decisions that I feel 100% confident in! All of the teachers are so loving and made the scary transition that starting school can be an easy and positive experience for us. My littles have grown so much (both academically and socially) in the two short months they've attended. I can't say enough about MCD! I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful group of people to care for my children and I'd recommend them to anyone :)

I really love this school. The teachers are great, and I can say that because my son has been going to this school for 3 years now. He started to go there at 18 months. Their program is made for the child development, my son is only 4, but believe me he knows a lot. Thanks miss Hilda for doing such a great job!

My grandson has learned so much and he's still learning. The director, Ms. Abi and his teacher, Ms. Hilda keeps in daily communication with us. They really CARE about the children there. Amazing !! Where do I start ? The staff and curriculum are very helpful and supportive. My grandson got kicked out of regular daycare where they didn't want to take the time and work with him Ms Abby and her crew have been simply wonderful and patient my granddaughter & grandson Have learned so much in such a short period of time with the wonderful care and learning atmosphere that they are in!

My son loves this place! He has been attending Safari Preschool for about a year and a half and I cannot be happier with his progress behaviorally as well as academically. The teachers show a real interest in each child and I always feel like I get as much personal attention as I need when picking up and dropping off my son. Ms. Abi is an awesome communicator and is very sweet. Her teachers, Ms. Hilda and Ms. Claudia, are very loving and creative ladies. I like how they are all so nice, but have a way of knowing how to keep the children on track. I have recommended his school to anyone who asks.

My son has been at Safari for a year, beginning when he was 19 more than old. The Director, Ms. Abi, is amazing with the children and the parents and his teacher, Miss Claudia is too! His language skills, counting, numbers, shapes and behavior have sky rocketed since attending. We are blown away with his progress and appreciate all that they do to facilitate our son's learning! They are also so sweet, patient, encouraging, and plan fun events for various holidays and birthdays as well! This is a wonderful place for children.
