I reached out to Rick for some expert advice(after reading other reviews) regarding a family member's DUI arrest. He called me back right away with time sensitive(10 day window after receiving the arrest pink slip) advice on how to handle DMV hearing and the importance of ordering a copy of drivers license right away(all done online). I could tell right away he was an expert in this area of law, he wasted no time in giving me crucial information and by the time we ended the call, he was pretty much HIRED for the case. Rick takes care of everything, DMV hearing and court appearances/follow up. He keep you informed every step of the way and lets you know up front what to expect(as far a timeframes...things run slow with the DMV and the courts). I've been happy with his services. He responds quickly to e-mails, answers questions and always has a comforting vibe that makes me feel like everythings going to be ok. When it came time to discuss SR-22 insurance he referred me to Alondra Ambrosio. Alondra was my go to person for the insurance/DMV situation. You can tell she knows her stuff and has confidence....no umm's or let me get back to you on that. She gets its done quick and with ease. Both Rick and Alondra are just both so nice to work with...just genuinely wanting to help.

I hired Rick and he was professional, attentive, and genuinely empathetic to the situation I found myself in. I made a mistake, and owned up to it, and he helped me so the consequences were much more bearable. Rick was always prompt at returning emails and he answered his phone when I called. Honestly, I couldn’t have wished for a better and more experienced attorney. He negotiated a lesser charge for me without much of the pain that could have been. His help will always be appreciated! If you are considering whether to hire Rick, stop looking as you have found the best attorney!

Best decision I made was hiring Rick! He made the entire process seamless. He went to court on my behalf (great given my work schedule), gave me the tools I needed to succeed, and if your worried he may not answer your calls don’t because even on vacation he took my call! I really appreciate everything he’s done for me and glad I had Rick represent me!

I hired Rick Mueller the day after my DUI arrest.
He immediately started to handle everything , from the DMV hearing to the court date. If I had a question, I could just email him and he would respond in minutes.
This was my first DUI and I had a low BAC (.10), so Rick was able to get my charge reduced to a wet and reckless! Technically no DUI on my record. Reduced fines and no court license suspension. He also gave me advice and referrals to IID and insurance companies to help get my license re-instated with the DMV. Because of his advice and strategizing, along with my own timely initiative, I’ve been able to legally stay driving throughout this entire process.
I’m in my DUI school now, and there’s some people who have waited 6+ months for a court date, whereas my case was resolved in 3 months total. Having a lawyer who knows the county court like Rick does is a game changer.
Very grateful to have found a quality lawyer, during one of the worst mistakes possible.
Looking back on this situation, I would definitely hire Rick Mueller again.

Rick Mueller saved me from so much between life and my career. As a Naval Officer it is almost impossible to convince the military that you are still worth more than what's at hand. I went searching for an EXPERIENCED attorney who was knowledgeable in Military Law and how this entity operated. My family and I are beyond blessed to have come across Rick. At almost 60 years old, I've had my share of attorney's. Mr. Mueller, San Diego's DUI attorney, was recommended by an attorney from Colorado. I live n Colorado and the thought of commuting to San Diego for appearances was daunting. Mr. was very precises in his discussions with me as to procedure and timing. Everything Mr. Mueller said was going to happen and everything he said he was going to do he did. In a very stressful situation Rick Mueller performed professionally with compassion. I highly recommend Mr. Mueller.

If your looking for someone to help you out of a bad situation and be there to help and answer all your questions then rick is the best. I was lost before I had an attorney for my case. Dealing with family, work and school while juggling a charge was a little much to handle but rick helped me the whole way. made the whole process very easy. he took care of all court issues, helped me deal with fines associated with my charge and also all the DMV paperwork and steps to take. I am very pleased with the way everything was finished and handled. I would recommend him to anybody in need of his services.

Mr. Mueller is the best DUI attorney out there. I would gladly recommend him to even my closest family members. He guided me through the whole process step by step. He was prompt with all his responses through phone and email. Im not sure what I would of done without him. I would recommend him to anybody. My DUI was dismissed and dropped to a wet and reckless.
