If I ever need to move another piano, I will call San Diego Piano Movers. Dave made it easy to schedule moving the piano into my home. The piano is very, very old and heavy - and there were steps! Dave and Brian made it look easy. Really incredibly good piano movers. I highly recommend!

This is the best company you could ever hire to move your piano! They went all the way to the Bay Area to bring me my father's grand piano after he passed away. Then they delivered it in perfect condition and set it all up in my house. That's not an easy task with a bevy grand piano! The entire transaction was fantastic. And the communication was great the whole time. I very highly recommend San Diego Piano Movers! The best!

Dave and the San Diego Piano Movers is an excellent choice. I was under a tight time frame for moving, and he stepped up and delivered after another local company cancelled at the last minute. He is careful, methodical, organized, efficient, and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone moving a valuable piano, and I would hire him again.

Incredibly rapid response. Dave and assistant were professional from the moment they drove up. They took our piano out of the moving truck and up a narrow flight of stairs! Incredible technique and care. Our piano now sits in the living room exactly where it needs to be with absolutely no scratches on it. This was worth every penny! And, incredibly exciting to watch these guys... These pros at work. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

This company is great. I set the move up with Dave and everything worked out perfectly. The crew works like a fine oiled machine. They are the best piano movers we've used and we've moved our Steinway a bunch of times.

Ultimately, this company damaged my piano, and so I would think twice before having this company move yours. At the very least, I would insist that the piano be wrapped, inspect it carefully before they put it on the truck, inspect how they secure it in the truck, and inspect it when they take it off the truck. The damage they caused was most likely due to how they secured it in their truck. I was careless and didn't inspect the piano when they were done, and when I noticed it later and called them, their attitude was, "Tough luck, buddy".

If you need your piano moved these are the guys to do it. Great communication, prompt service, organized, and very professional at what they do. David and Brian are the best in the business and Theresa was so awesome in accommodating the move in the schedule. Do not take a chance with furniture movers and make sure to hire these guys.

San Diego Piano Movers exceeded all our expectations by far! They moved our upright piano from our home in Coronado to our son's home in La Mesa, and spent less than 10 minutes at each location. (And our son lives on top of a rather steep hill.) Plus, they were right on time, and very easy to do business with! I can't recommend this san Diego Piano Movers enough!

They were almost an hour past the arrival window I was given, but they did a great job and fast. I was very nervous about if they would be able to get my upright piano down a narrow flight of stairs without banging into walls or losing control, but they made it look easy!

Was looking for a white piano, and found this place on google maps. I am so very happy I found Abel! Very nice family, professional, helpful and seem to be very honest. I purchased a brown used piano, and they were able to paint it all white for me. Abel did an amazing job! The price was right. It's as if I bought a brand new piano. Was delivered and tuned within a week. This place is awesome. Excellent detailed work. Here are before and after pics.

We had a very good experience with SD Piano Movers, moving a piano from North County to East County, then taking away another piano to donate. Dave was very helpful and responsive on the phone. Scheduling was quick, pricing was very reasonable. They were in and out of both locations quickly and efficiently. The only drawback was the last minute confirmation of time windows. People at both ends had to take off work to be home, but didn't know until late the afternoon before what their time range would be. It was a bit of an inconvenience, but I guess that's hard to avoid, since one of their strengths is they can do last-minute scheduling for other customers. That said, I would still give them 5 stars.

This company was great! I cannot recommend them enough. It was easy to schedule a time for them to come and move a large piece of furniture. They were upfront about pricing and the price I was quoted was very competitive. They arrived on time on the day of the appointment and were able to move the piece of furniture upstairs quickly. They did not damage any of the floors or walls. I will definitely use them again!

Kevin and Chris were the best!!!! So professional, hard working and personable. They picked up a 1930 baby grand from a home that was kinda tricky and delivered it to me and set it up very efficiently. They really seem to know their stuff about pianos too which I wasn't really expecting from movers. Highly recommend - especially if you get these two.

San Diego Piano Movers is a company I highly recommend! Chris and Kevin gave us a window of two hours and they arrived at the beginning of their quoted time. They were professionals, helpful and move the piano in a very careful manner. I have used them twice now and I highly recommend them if you are thinking of having any instrument moved in your home. These guys were amazing. I called them for a same day move and they fit me into the schedule and showed up 3 hours later while transitioning from one job to another. They charged me a very fair price and were very pleasant and professional. Excellent communication on timeframes and appointment times. I highly recommend them. Zavier and his coworker (can't remember his name) were awesome.

Theresa was prompt with my quote and has great communication skills. I received several quotes through the yelp app. This company had the most competitive pricing. I probably received 6 quotes through yelp. They also were able to schedule the move of my grand piano within a few days. When you schedule your appointment you pick a day convenient for you. The day before they will call you with a time frame when the item will be delivered. The time frame can be a pretty wide range. This is because they have to plan the logistics between pickup and other deliveries. Chris and Kev delivered my piano. They were polite and full of energy. They were both very knowledgeable about different types and brands of pianos aside from knowing how to transport pianos. They also gave me tips on how to keep my piano nice and shiny. They can move other items too like a pool table!

They get 2 starts because they were prompt in their communication. They started off with my quote at $295 plus $15 for each step after giving them addresses and type of piano. As I was talking with them I was told that it was now $20 each step. At the last minute as I was deciding to splurge and pay the $450 they were asking, they said, oh we forgot we have to have an additional person there, thats an extra $150 for a total of $700. They had absolutely zero interest in earning my business or trying to make it a reasonably fair exchange. Felt like they were adding on charges they thought they could get away with.

I requested my instrument to be moved by them, and after reading the reviews, I decided to give a call. They were very good at responding in a timely manner. Very nice, polite, extremely helpful. Here is my reason for the 3 star: 1. they didn't wrap my instrument AT ALL. It's not a shiny brand new instrument, but I do believe they should to avoid scratches 2. they dragged it on the ground in stead of lifting it up. There was no wheels under... 3. two movers came to move one instrument, and my husband had to help them balancing it, lifting it and so on. I just think that if two people are not enough, then bring three. And if it's risky, heavy, not easy to balance, then at least wrap it all around for extra protection.
