St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School is a welcoming and supportive community where I have made life-long friends in Christ. The first time I attended St. Paul’s over 10 years ago, I knew that I was going to join. I look forward each week to hearings God’s Word and experiencing Christ’s love for us. From the quality and inspiring Bible-based messages given by our Pastors’ to the phenomenal music program in both the church and school, we truly are blessed. I am very lucky to be in the adult church choir and to be part of the music program. I am, and often more than once during the service, moved to tears when experiencing moments of joy and belonging (which also can be embarrassing). Our school is committed to educating students to be prepared for the future academically, technologically, emotionally, and spiritually. We would love for you to come to St. Paul’s and “dream with us” and be part of our future. We welcome you with open hearts and arms.

St. Paul's has been my church home for 30 years. The number one thing I value most is it preaches the Gospel message and sticks to the true teachings of Jesus. It is a loving and welcoming place of worship offering both fantastic traditional and contemporary/blended music styles. The preschool - eighth grade school is fully accredited and includes a top notch music program, foreign language instruction, athletics and a personally involved teaching staff. My children made lifelong friends there and I cherish the friendships I've made at St. Paul's.

This is a very personal review.
St. Paul's has been my church home for a very long time. My experience is that St. Paul's is a welcoming community that supports its members in their walk with God and celebrates the Gospel. The worship services are inviting and the sermons are Gospel-centered and uplifting.
Here is a short personal list of specific experiences at St. Paul's I have found uplifting:
1. Weekly Bible class on Sunday mornings
2. Adult Choir with weekly rehearsals and participation in Sunday worship services
3. Opportunities to serve as a lay reader of Scripture readings during worship services
4. Men's group that meets weekly for breakfast at a local restaurant
I can also attest that St. Paul's Lutheran School has been excellent with high academic standards for a very long time. I was a student here in Kindergarten through sixth grade (from 1966-1973 if you're wondering). That beginning prepared me well to continue my education and ultimately earn a Ph.D. in Mathematics and teach Mathematics at UC San Diego since Fall 2002. Moreover, my experience at St. Paul's Lutheran school was the starting point for my lifelong walk with God.

Our family came to St. Paul's when our three children were nearing school age. They attended the school from kindergarten through 8th grade. They have since gone on to high school and university, earning five university degrees and several professional certificates between the three of them. The education and guidance they received from the teachers and staff at St. Paul’s School was, in my opinion, essential in their academic growth and development. I also think that the environment created by the staff aided in their healthy emotional growth. An essential part of their time at St. Paul’s school was spiritual guidance, in the classroom and at weekly chapel services. Two of our children’s weddings were officiated by the pastors at St. Paul’s. We have grandchildren who have been baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s. We feel very fortunate to have been a part of the community at St. Paul’s as our family has been supported and ministered to in many ways and for many years.

St. Paul's welcomes all to our community. We offer two services each Sunday 8:30(traditional) & 10am(contemporary). Sermons are based on the Bible and provide current day analogies one can relate to. We offer a kid's ministry during second service and childcare for both services. Bible study for adults is offered at 10am as well. Come join us for coffee fellowship between the services. Our Preschool - 8th grade is a gift to our community with Christian goals and strong academics. Our future is bright with new offerings this coming year. You will find a home that loves you.

This is a wonderful place to serve with people that are passionate about education in our school and believe in raising up the next generation. This is a congregation that is faithful to the Word of God and also desires to reach the community with the good news of Jesus.
The school music program is a regular blessing to the worship here at St. Paul's. Hope to see you join us in worship of God.

Visiting my son and his family and stopped here for their worship service.
They preach the word, so the next time I visit, I will come back.

This year my child had a great pre-k teacher but unfortunately tbe director of the pre-school program would oversee the class often. The director is very callused, impersonable and quick to pass judgement. Although, The pre-k teacher my child had was awesome and very personable.

My go-to church when I’m in San Diego. Beautiful sanctuary, engaging sermons, and the staff/members were warm and friendly. Provided a respite from a whirlwind schedule. Close to PB for Sunday afternoon beach time. I look forward to returning.

We went for first time today, great sermon! The pews were quite full for the early 0830 service, they also have a 1000 service. There was a parking lot, and lots of street parking. Traditional Lutheran service singing from hymnal books and communion kneeling with wine. We really enjoyed it and will be back.
