Putting sample pumps outside the door is genius. Reeled me in like a Marlin! AJ is such an asset to the brand. AJ was knowledgeable and helpful. I’m really excited for my new hand and facial products. They smell divine!

Service was incredible! We forgot to ask the name of the person helping us this morning but she was incredible, keeping in touch with multiple customers in the store while giving us a memorable experience. Great products, great selection, but the customer experience in store is what really sells the Aēsop experience.

Nadia was amazing at sharing details about Aesop and their products along with an enjoyable testing experience. She assisted with narrowing down the products I liked the most. I went with the olous room spray, redemption body scrub, geranium body cleanser, and their conditioner. I highly recommend coming to this store front if you want a friendly and attentive experience.

Overall great experience! Tried a sample of hand balms outside their store and the employee working on Sunday afternoon was very nice to show us their hand balm variations! Got the hand balm and can't wait to use it!

Aesop is a symbol of luxury and elegance. In addition to that, it is a certified B Corporation with vegan and cruelty-free formations. When it comes to even the most educated (fragrance) palates, Aesop gifts are sure to please both men and women. After purchasing items in all categories I can objectively say that: 1. Aesop stores have one of the most aesthetically pleasing interiors and I really enjoy visiting them 2. Whether it's citrusy or woodsy base notes, Aesop has the best smelling hand soaps, hand creams, fragrances and skin care products 3. All products have natural ingredients (no silicones for example) 4. Sales associates are well versed and able to answer all questions 5. Regardless of your favorite notes, Aesop will have something that will delight your senses (whether it's a shower gel, fragrance or face oil) I might also add: 1. In general, I buy products primarily for their effectiveness. When it comes to Aesop's product formulations, they are slightly out of date. In other words - don't expect plant stem cells, vegan collagen or anything similar in these products. You will only find old-school ingredients. Simple moisturizing effect can be found in face masks such as the Blue Chamomile mask. 2. The hypnotizing scent is all there is to (2) products I purchased several times: Reverence hand cream and Fabulous face oil. Both products are greasy and very heavy (i.e. I don't use this hand cream while I type on my keyboard during a regular work day). Grown Alchemist's Tee Tree hand cream has multiple innovative advantages over Reverence: it has Glycerin which is moisturizing (the hand cream absorbs quickly and does not leave oily residue on iPad screens, keyboards etc.) It has antibacterial properties because of Tree Tree and it is offered at 23% lower price point than Reverence. 3. Hand soap, while it smells amazing, does not have typical anti-bacterial properties (unless fruit oils serve that purpose). 4. Aesop keeps its luxury status (among other things) by never offering sales that exceed 10%. 2022 might see Aesop offering a 15% discount. Summary: I do not shop at Aesop for contemporary face and body products. I shop here primarily for the most sophisticated (bottled) scents available to purchase.

Jenny was lovely and helped me prepare for an upcoming trip by showing me all of the travel-sized options and even bringing me a washcloth so I could dry off after trying the various options at the sink. I settled on the Arrival Kit (classic shampoo, classic conditioner, geranium leaf body cleanser, and rind concentrate body balm in carry-on friendly sizes). Resurrection Aromatique is my favorite Aesop scent so I also picked up a tube of hand balm and two bottles of rinse-free hand wash for my holiday. Crucially, Jenny told me that my all time holy grail, favorite Aesop product (Sage & Zinc Facial Hydrating Cream) that I haven't been able to get in the US for many years will be back on July 11! I can't wait to go pick some up.

Got a new hydrating moisturizer today, in this little warden between Russian and Nob hills. Nice fellow who helped me to try.... threw in some samples for upcoming trip. Very nice to come across an Aesop that I didn't even know was there. Last one I patronized was Portland!!! Nice to meet you, J--- from J!

Didn't even realize Aesop had an outpost on boujie Jackson Street, but chanced upon this skin care oasis on my walk from the Embarcadero to North Beach. Who could resist escaping SF's slightly grimy, piss smelling sidewalk when the most delicious rosemary aromatherapy beckons from the confines of Aesop, inviting you and your nose in the best way possible?! I've seen and used products from this high end skin care and body care line in boutique hotels over the years, so I definitely had to stop in for a little visit. I was greeted by the very knowledgeable Jeremy, who was welcoming and even offered me a cup of rose hip tea, yes please! As I walked through the gorgeous sunlit skin care emporium, Jeremy was highly informative, and guided me to the products that would work best for my combination / dry skin type. On this first visit, I also asked Jeremy to direct me to the flagship products that work best for combo dry skin. As a result, I bought a product from Aesop's popular Parsley Seed line, the Parsley Seed Exfoliator, which comes in their signature metal tube with that minimalist, apothecary vibe. I also scooped up the amazing Aesop Rosehip Seed Lip Cream, this amazing lightweight lip cream just sinks into your lips and importantly, it has a pleasant taste. I left a happy girl, and appreciated Jeremy hooked up face cleanser samples. Did I mention the super cute and eco cloth shopping bag. I can't wait for my next visit!
