Cobb's Comedy Club is located in a former rock club in North Beach, offering a taste of old-school San Francisco. The venue is intimate, giving a more engaged and intimate experience, though it can get pretty packed. It is a fun place to see some of the funniest comedians, with shows that are absolutely GREAT. The staff is super friendly, helpful, kind, and attentive. There is a two-drink minimum. The drinks are good and great, though some reviews note they were very much watered down for the price. The food was just ok and adds up quickly, looking very appetizing but recommended to eat ahead of time. Servers are noted to push minimums, and it is wished they came between acts instead of during performances. The phone locking system for coats is pretty smooth. The venue accommodates from 25 to 770 guests and is perfect for private shows or events. It is conveniently located approximately two miles from Moscone Center. Definitely give plenty of time to find parking. It is advised not to sit in the front row for those who do not want interaction. The temperature can be a bit chilly. Overall, it is a good experience and an awesome place for good times.
