Excellent experience. I called a few places before calling here, once I ended my call I decided to not make any more calls and come see them. They were very polite and informative over the phone, no hidden agendas. I went in person a few days later and was met with the same politeness, friendliness, and professionalism. I was helped by Anton and he was the best. My experience here is with selling, I have not purchased; but I would trust them with any precious metal business. Thank you again and for sure will come back! :)

The nice man at Polyak tested an antique gold necklace for me at no charge. It turns out that it wasn't actually gold, which is exactly what I needed to know. I really appreciate the excellent customer service, even though I wasn't really a customer.

I've been acustomer of Polyak Precious Metals since 2015 even before the relocation/new ownership. I had great experiences and questionable ones. One with a lady at the old location, I asked her to test each bar so I would be comfortable that everything was on the up and up sunce I was a new customer. The second occassion was (according Boris it was his brother, as Boris was busy with another client), he told me the premium was $100 which I was confused because my prior purchase I was only charged $35, Boris's brother agitated and abrasive. I had no idea that the premium had climed so fast ir so high. Rather than explaining why and how the new premium, he was argumentative. Finally I must say, every encounter I had with Boris, he was polite courteous and business like, infact he made feel like a friend.

I was a bit disappointed with the service. The gentleman really did not look at any bit of the coins I brought in because 1 the coins are not made of gold or silver, 2 I have a good bit of US minted coins that are error coins and antique. He told me that it is still in currency and it is nothing but face value. The few silver coins he did glance at he offered me way below the actual value. Pretty much scrap metal price. What is the point of collecting coins if you only want what's made of gold or silver? But he did give me some information where I could take my collection to someone who might possibly help me on my appraisal. Thanks!
