"I stopped by the first night I've ever been in SF, only because it was the most convenient place for a low price that I could find in a hurry. As my party and me walked in, we didn't get a friendly welcome, seems like the gentleman didn't wanna be at work on a Saturday afternoon... I proceeded to order, and it just so happens the top three of my bread choices he just didn't have available. As I'm building my sandwich with the worker, I'm choosing my vegetables, and a full size roach appears from underneath the black vegetable containers, I pointed the roach out to the employee... HE JUST LOOKED AT IT AND PROCEEDED TO BUILD MY SANDWICH. I totally get there's going to be roaches in an old shop in a historic city, but right next to my jalapeños?!? Nah fam. Third of all, there's no restroom. Safe to say you should save your time and money and walk the extra few blocks to another Subway. "

"I lived next door to this place for the past 8 years, been going in and out 2 to 3 times a week usually for a sandwich and a soda, and just a few months back, sandwiches are around 7$ for a foot-long with tax, and a large soda would be 1.80$, now not only the sandwiches has gotten worst, the sandwich has gone up, the sodas are now 3$, for a plastic cup and soda that's worth 50 cents, even some of the vegetables has freezer burn, the tomatoes are soggy and broken apart that doesn't even make a complete circle anymore at one point, and the jalapenos has been soaked for the long, that it turned completely brown, the workers at night also let in crackheads and bums, to sleep on the tables, and give out cups for them to get water out of the fountain, and don't get me wrong, its not about the fact that they are giving them water, its the fact that they are rubbing their contaminated and infected hands all over the straws, lids, and fountain nozzle, also the table that they sleep on, and that's where you eat your food, this is a huge safety and health hazard, and when some one does manage to get sick from cross-contamination or tuberculosis, this is where it all came from, save yourself the trouble walk extra 2 or 3 blocks to the Subway on Polk, or on Larkin, they all have different owners as far as i know, and its much cleaner from my perspective."
