I have used the AAA Westgate branch for many years. It has easy access and plenty of parking and large established shade trees which are really nice in the summer. It is now December 2022, but it's one of those things that I appreciate and remember. The office staff are great. The greeter at the door ensures you are placed in correct queue for needed services and then you are directed to wait for the next available agent. Wait times have historically been short at this location and I hope that doesn't change when the new Costco opens in a year or two. As an AAA member for decades I've used this branch office for DMV services, auto and homeowner insurance. I can't say that I've ever had a negative experience here. Even during COVID restrictions the staff followed protocols to log in visitors and queue for services while directing to wait outside until your name is called. Those shade trees I mentioned earlier made it nice to wait outside on a summer afternoon in the shade. This is a long overdue yelp review and I hope my experiences at the Westgate office are as good as yours. Let's also hope the new Costco going up won't change things for this hidden gem of a local AAA branch office.

Me and my wife have been members of AAA for 23 years. About three weeks ago, I called AAA to tow my car from Modesto to Campbell due to mechanical issues. After two weeks, the mechanic shop said they did partial work but that another part needs to be ordered and is going to take eight weeks for the parts to arrive so the car needs to be towed. I called AAA. AAA said you must be at the location (Campbell, CA) with AAA card and a picture ID. I said what if when the car arrives to me (Modesto, CA) I have those available and they said no you must be at the location for the vehicle to be towed. I drove to Campbell, called AAA and AAA start asking question as to why my car needs to be towed. They asked me is it due to mechanical failure, I said yes, and after all that they told me no we can't tow your car because that is against our policy. I found that ridiculous. What is another reason would I need my car towed other than mechanical issues? I asked for the supervisor. The supervisor rudely said the same thing, you need to call another towing company. In conclusion I had to pay $700 to get my car towed and lost a whole Saturday. All of that could be avoided. They could've shared that with me before they put me through all this loop and at the end they did not do what they're supposed to be doing. My question is how would you rate AAA? More important than that, AAA's going to rate itself? After 23 years that was my experience. Do not get fooled by a beautiful front is all a façade. Stay away from this company.

I love AAA, but they failed to complete my auto registration, even though I provided all forms and payment. Had to go back months later, and they had no explanation, and were very rude about it - not what I expect from AAA. Of course it's the best place to do your reg, but don't do what I did and assume that just because you exchanged money and paperwork and they tell you you're all set, that everything is actually, all set.

Tried to get an international drive permit. Very simple and easy to get it. Just need my drive license and two passport style photos. And $20 fee. It takes only 15 min. or less.

Came here after calling triple a and found out you give complimentary trip planning at any office. Went here, a receptionist wasn't rude but certainly wasn't friendly...told me we can't help you, something about their trip planner just got back from vacation was to busy to help! Isn't that your job? This was my first experience with triple a...it is certainly going to make me think twice about giving you my business in the future!

my registration & title were stolen out of my car so I needed a replacement. If this happens to you I suggest you opt to replace the title & you’ll get your registration the same day while your title is mailed out.James helped me today & he was awesome. They need to give that guy a raise, he’s thorough & just super helpful. He made my experience quick & painless.

Came in to get an international drivers permit. Process was very simple and had to fill up an online form. Once I did that and paid, the staff were efficient and got the final permit in 5 minutes end to end. Pretty quick and easy. Only complaint is their repeated pushing and selling for a AAA membership which I had no interest in buying.
