Ace Hardware always employs truly helpful and knowledgeable staff that can answer most any question a non handy person could have. They carry excellent quality products. Their stores are stocked as if they have a sixth sense and know more about what you need than you do. Rarely would I consider any hardware store other than Ace.

Ace hardware is my go-to place for a quick hardware store trip. I regularly count on Ace to be able to finish my projects.
I came in with a broken screw today for reference and Arshia was incredibly helpful in getting me setup with a few suitable replacements and on my way to finish the project.

I bought stain that was advertised $10 off with my Ace loyalty number, but they didn’t automatically discount it at the register. So check your receipts & make sure you ask for the discount.

Ash at the Almaden Ace Hardware store is awesome! Super helpful, knowledgeable, and always goes the extra mile to make sure customers find what they need. The website says they will recycle batteries so I took my cell phone battery there. I struggled walking a long way to get there and was told "oh just take it to BestBuy". For years I try to give business to Ace over HD, but I may not show that loyalty anymore. I'm finally back home and still have the battery. PS: My battery was not a car battery or a large alarm battery, it was a small (fit in your palm) 3.8V Li ion battery. If you cannot take these, you should make it clear. Sounds like you only take flashlight type batteries. If this true, why not say it.
