The "find a unicorn card, get a deal" season is here - and the store is well stocked for holidays, whimsy, and practical home goodness. I particularly appreciate the chance for this infirm but fun heart to sit for a moment and admire displays and gather ideas!

I love coming here for something special. They have collections of foods and items from around the world. The store is getting ready for the fall season, so you can find all the beautiful fall colors around the store. It looks lovely and adds to the seasonal atmosphere!

They literally meet you at the door to tell you you can't take your scooter in and to leave it outside. Hell no this scooter costs more than that pseudo manager makes in a month! I don't need mini hot sauces that bad.

Cost Plus World Market has such a unique selection of items from all over the world! This location is in the San Jose Market Center. I stopped by on Friday afternoon-- I was going to head into downtown San Jose, and had an hour to kill. Decided to go to Target nearby, then I walked over & saw World Market. The store's A/C was at a very comfortable level. That kept me browsing, haha, since it was a hot day. I was warmly greeted. I like how their items are sourced from all over the world. When I lived in Mountain View, I bought a really nice room divider screen from them. To this day, it is one of my favorite pieces of furniture. Anyhow, back to this location. Nice food selection, furniture, etc. I would definitely return if I were in the area. Happy shopping! *The only thing is, some of their items can be a tad bit more on the expensive side. ** So I would not furnish my apartment from here, maybe just a few special pieces. Happy browsing!

We came to this store from the north bay because there were supposed to be two counter stools we were looking for in stock. As it turns out they did not have them. We were helped by three wonderful ladies. They searched the store and called another bay area store to check their inventory. They came up empty handed, but then figured out where we could order them from an online source. We are indebted to them.

Fantastic for window shopping ?️ sometimes they have good deals. All goods are imported from parts of the world. ??Wide range of handmade soaps, candle scents, incense sticks cute pots, lighting goods/lamps and gourmet foods.?️Apparel and kitchen items are expensive, but gourmet foods and candles are value for money.?Carpets and towels are also better quality than target.

I love this place. You can get a GIANT CAN OF HERRING!! Enough to feed a squad, it not a platoon. German hot dogs in a tall jar? Yessir! Plus every kind of salted liquorice, yes I'll use the British spelling, marshmallow fluff (best mouse bait there is) all kinds of imported goods. I get my Ty-Phoo tea here and it's not easy to turn a Yank into a tea drinker but that stuff did it.I will caution: The Asian goods are overpriced. You can do far better in an Asian market. But to just try a thing, it doesn't matter if you overpay to see if you like a thing. Oh, and they have tons of Haribo! I recommend the liquorice wheels, but you can go nuts on their Haribo rack, yes they have a Haribo rack .... and tasters of liquors, tons of 'em, if you like that sort of thing. They're also pretty well stocked on coffee, and have those little Italian coffee makers ... Moka Pot? Bialetti? Yeah I think that's it and at pre-covid prices. All in all well worth a visit. I remember going to Cost Plus World Market as a little kid and while you're no longer regaled with the scent of teak and sandalwood when you walk in, it's still a really great store.

I ordered a fragile item online. It was ready for pick up the next day. I really appreciate the high level of customer service and care that the sales associate took with my fragile item. I believe her name is Tara. I will definitely shop here again and recommend this store to my friends.

Went here today to buy a daybed and a couple of pillows. Stayed in the store for quite a while. All the employees stayed away from me. No one ever greeted me or asked if I needed help. They just all seemed too busy. Love the daybed. One of the pillows was out of reach. Just gave up. Maybe a different World Market will be more helpful.

They have some cool imported foods that you can't find anywhere else. The mark up is reasonable. A good place for gifts.
