CVS #09498 (1800 Saratoga Ave, San Jose, CA)
I recently visited this CVS location to pick up my online order and was shocked by the rudeness of Shift Supervisor Sam.
Unprofessional demeanor
Condescending tone
Inaccurate information
Lack of customer care
As a former retail employee, I know better customer service is possible. Sam's attitude left a sour taste.
*Avoid this location if possible.*

Strongly suggest avoiding it. Simple prescriptions get delayed, they short charged me on the pills, never pick up the phone and don't tell you when they don't have the medicine.

If zero stars could be given I would do that. We were served by an incompetent cashier/tech in the pharmacy named Lynn. I am sure if you have made the mistake of sending your prescriptions to this store you have dealt with the fool. She should get some customer service training or honestly just stop serving customers. She was charging $80 dollars for a prescription that was supposed to be covered by insurance. We had to ask her why the charge was so high to get an answer. I mean seriously yeah we love to come in to experience your ugly attitude. Save your money and go elsewhere. I don't know how many people have probably gotten ripped off by this idiot. And for the idiot maybe stay in the stock room stacking bottles. Customers don't need to experience your nastiness.

The employee in charge of the photo counter provides excellent customer service! I visited another cvs pharmacy in Santa Clara to take passport photos of my 5 month old and they told me they couldn't do it because they didn't have the right equipment to take photos of my baby. I called around to other CVS locations and they referred me to this location. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome and the employee at the photo counter (young man) was extremely helpful, patient and went above and beyond until we got the photo just right. Also note that this location didn't have any special equipment to take my son's passport photos, but what they did have was an excellent employee who was willing to try his best to help us!

I go to the CVS because it is near me. It's not great as far as quality of the store and organization of products on the shelves, but I'm usually there for the pharmacy. They all seem very overworked, but trying to be as friendly as possible while, probably being exhausted, they have answered any questions that I had without making me feel like a nuisance. Customer service at the front cash app has also been good.

Shout out to IAN! Super helpful and provides all the information you need about using GoodRx at CVS. Even offers to contact another pharmacy to have a prescription transferred. Ian, please let me know if you leave CVS! That'll be a sad day for CVS customers. Kudos to you.

Great store! I love the food selections and the I AM Jewelry collection that is sold here. Ample parking with wide spaces. Staff is very friendly and helpful at this CVS. This store has a trove of all super good things. Many unique cosmetics, as well. It is very clean and up-to-date. You can find slippers, drinks, food, shirts, toys, pet food and so very much more. To me, it’s more of a very large and well-stocked mini-mart CVS. I love that they sell beautiful flowers here and they are on display when you walk in the front door. Fabulous place for everything you need. Look nowhere else. UPDATE: I have to give Maxine some very well-deserved credit. She’s the nicest person and she’s always so helpful, fun and kind. She’s a real manager of all things and a true leader. She knows customer service like no other.Update: I must compliment Doris here. She is always so patient, kind and extremely pleasant to everyone that walks into CVS. She’s very helpful and very knowledgeable as well as being cheerful. She provides excellent customer service every time! Doris is a sunny ray of sunshine.Another update: Andrew has been exceptionally helpful and kind every time I go into this store and he’s a true asset to CVS.Today, Helen, the Pharmacist was simply great. She helped me with my medication issue and she filled the prescription quickly and let me leave this CVS as a very happy customer. I think the world of this CVS for their excellent and experienced staff.

I am so surprised to see this pharmacy has only 2 stars on its page. Every time I go there the staff is pleasant and they go out of their way to be helpful. The pharmacist gives a great injection. Rx are always accurate. I think this is a great CVS to shop at.

I have had a few not so great experiences with less competent individuals there at night, however, Andrew H. is a great Ops Manager. When I see him there, he asks me how my day is and is genuinely interested in helping me find what I need. I think he deserves a promotion.
