If I could give zero stars, I would. This was the worst DHL experience I’ve ever had. I usually go to the Fremont location and never have any issues, but this time, I tried the one closer to my house. They assured me everything was in order with my shipment.
A week later, I received a message stating that my package hadn’t been cleared by U.S. customs—even though it had already made it to the destination country and passed their customs check. They informed me that the package would be returned to the Cincinnati hub and then automatically forwarded to the destination, but that did not happen.
For over a month now, I’ve been going back and forth through emails. They repeatedly said they couldn’t ship it due to missing information. Despite my efforts to provide all the necessary details, I was met with vague responses and zero solutions. Today, I came home to find my items returned to me—all that time and effort wasted.
I spent nearly $400 on this shipment, and I expect a full refund. I’m filing this complaint to prevent others from experiencing the same poor service.

Thank you very much DHL, Express Service Point San Jose, CA. It was my fist time using DHL from USA to Europe and I'm very satisfied. This speaks for the German quality and precision in services. The price was reasonable and the letter arrived at destination in less than 48h, long before the scheduled date. Kate was the employee who attended me: She was very friendly, professional, and quick in the execution - a great asset that you can be proud of. I'll certainly use your services again in the future, and definitely at this local.

First time, Thursday, Got an email that it will be delivered between 2-4 pm, while heading back to home, got an email at 1:15 that attempted delivery failed, no one home.
Second time got an email that it will be delivered Labour day 4-6 pm. Rushed back home from my friend's house party at 3. At 5:45 got an update that "Delivery attempt could not be completed" with no further explanation.
Thanks for ruining two days for me so far. way to go DHL!
