The handful of times I've been to this particular target they seem to be out of certain inventory or perhaps they don't receive as much as other target locations? I can never find an employee to help me, and on this particular occasion, there were a handful of people working the target takeout line, but nobody had a single cash register! I needed to buy a gift card and pressed the help button and waited five minutes for some employee to come back after lunch who wasn't even in that department and then he helped me before going back to the target takeout line! I don't think I'll go back to this target again just because there's too many problems plus the parking lot is a little chaotic since it's attached to a mall and there's always a car accident or two in front on that weird intersection where Prospect changes into Hamilton and Campbell Avenue. No thanks.

Beware of Le Roy at the front check lanes . Middle Aged bald man with grease stains on his shirt wearing a face mask made for a child with a snarky attitude . He will lie to you and say he is the store manager when I'm fact he is not . Need to hide this guy in the back room .

I think I just found my go-to Target spot when I am in San Jose! Usually, I go to the one on Coleman or at Oakridge, but this Target is pretty big and has all the goods that I need and am looking for.I am planning on traveling to a different state soon and I was looking for travel items. This store had all the travel essentials and even shampoo brand that I use. I am definitely planning on going back when I am in the area. However, customer service was ok, as I did see some yelling happening. But overall, I do recommend this Target, as it's located in a shopping center for other places.

I love shopping at Target... the concept of shopping clothes especially at a departmental store was foreign to me until I had kids I am sure many of the parents can relate to this.. you don't want to buy expensive clothes which will be worn only for a few months...I love their in house brand and find the pricing same as some of the other brands like carters or old navy etc to name a few. What I like is the bold colors and pretty designs and kids look really cute in them. For $8 leggings or shirt likewise, it doesn't hurt the wallet either.I like this location a lot because of its close proximity to my house, well connected to some of the other stores that I would shop at along with some food options available as it is within a mall. A trip to target checks all my grocery and other items on the list.. the staff is nice, friendly, polite and very respectful. Love their customer service.I am a happy loyal target customer for life

I went there today for a return at about 10ish and there was a Asian lady who was helping a customer on her phone for long time and I was next, and there was another lady came and stand behind me, another employee comes and she asked for his help and then they both try to help her for another 5 minutes, and she calls me over and naps at me to push the @ change mind on the pad and throw the receipt at me,, really!

Great location, but it feels like it's lacking at times.I think coming to this location doesn't feel like a 'Target' experience where you find beyond what you're looking for - which isn't bad, but it's not what I expect when I come to Target.Of the times I've come here, I get what's necessary and exit almost after. The 'magic' of Target feels a bit lost upon this location, even though their displays are really stunning and the store is generally very clean. I feel like the layout contributes to the confusion and lack of interest in staying longer than necessary. I feel like I spend more of my time figuring out where things are instead of enjoying the shopping experience. It feels more like an errand than fun? Maybe it's just me.I'd say based on the parking lot, influx of people, and layout - it's not a place I'd return to to stick around at, unfortunately. I feel like I've had more optimistic feelings about this location in the past, but I was a bit let down to see the low Christmas inventory all around. The space within the store is large and spacious, but it still feels like it's still too narrow to comfortably go through the aisles with other carts. (I've avoided lines because of the inability to enter , even without a cart!)If I need to return, I do come around but with the parking situation and how long the lines can be for checkout, it's usually lower on my list of priorities.

Never been to a 2-level Target, thus it was my first-time visiting Westgate Target. I think they need to improve the signage. I was looking for men's wear. I read it's located on 2nd level. When I got to upstairs, signs on both sides of escalators were exactly the same. When I got to downstairs, I saw a customer flagged an employee to unstuck a cart on the cart escalator. What the #&$'"?Okay. It was during the holiday season. I can't blame on discount items were sold out. But I want to praise on the displays near greeting cards and produce sections. They were very attractive and appetizing. The reason I came here was to adjust a purchase to match up $60 in order to get $20 reward. Employee was very helpful and he understood exactly what I needed. And, I didn't need to visit the restroom. They all have the same features across the country.

By far the worst Target I have ever been too. The store was dirty...the bathroom unbelievable. The floor was covers in tissue papers...no soap. I even looked at the cleaning log and it said 11/28/22. I believe it. Ain't no way anyone had cleaned that bathroom same say. Horrible. I told the older guy at customer service counter but he said we busy, someone will get to it. I completely understand short staff is a problem everywhere...but a 15 mins huddle to clean and organize will never hurt sales. The Starbucks was slow af. He was goofing off. I am like sir please make my drinks and cut it out. The worst ever..

My credit card was stolen from this location at the self checkout terminals. I will never shop inside a target again. Their prices have well exceed Amazon and their shelves are empty. Getting my information stolen years ago, then credit card fraud all to leave with my list still have full. Not acceptable. Afraid of what is next with them! PS. Another friend also had their credit card information stolen from this location, so I'm not speaking out of line.

Big thank you to Alice K. And Gino at customer service. A game I wanted was just released as a Target exclusive. Came to pick up a copy and couldn't find it anywhere in the store. Asked a associate on the floor and was told he couldn't help. Gave up. My husband stopped at customer service to double check and Gino tried multiple things to locate it. Alice heard us talking right as we where going to give up, looked at the system and said okay I know where it's at and went to find it. I appreciate all of there help. Thanks again!

Horrible customer service. They close the doors before closing time. Management is rude and unhelpful. I'd recommend going yo the target on Hillsdale instead.

Very UNCOMFORTABLE behavior. I went to the womens bathroom at this location (near closing), and as I was in the stall, the janitor began reaching under my stall to pick up trash while I was using it. When I exited the stall, he waited inside the bathroom untill I exited the bathroom. An employee (glasses and medium long black hair) was informed of what happened but he seemed to just brush it off and dismiss it saying they had to do it to clean. May 21, 2022

Poor customer service. Went there to buy an item and the website at that moment said there were 7 items available. We get there and the app says there are still 7 available. When we try to find the item see the spot where it should be, but no item. Check around for an associate to confirm it's sold out and can't find anyone. Used the touchscreen kiosk to request an associate, it cancels the request 5 times due to not being able find someone. We finally just left the store. So seeing as how the website said there were still 7 available, I did an experiment and ordered on the Target app for curbside pickup. I figured that if it's out of stock they'll cancel it. Well, it was totally in stock, because as I'm writing this, I'm in spot #10 writing this review waiting for the curbside pickup. "Great" customer service Target. Definitely stay away from this Target if possible. Very poor customer service.

I stumbled upon this target after leaving a store in the shopping plaza across the street. It's a pretty nice size location being that it has two levels. I found that the store was pretty clean despite the fact that there were quite a bit of empty shelves in the grocery area. I'm not sure if it may be this particular location or what, but their items are a bit marked up in price compared to other Target stores in the area. For anyone that is into wine and spirits, they have a vast selection. As other reviews have stated, the grocery section is not that big and they don't have a big selection of vegetarian/vegan pre-packaged items. If you are an ice cream enthusiast, they seem to have plenty of that. The area for make up, soap and personal items were fully stocked and the presentation was very acceptable. I will still give this Target another try despite going on a Saturday and seeing quite a bit of empty shelves.
