Vera texted me before the appointment which I appreciated. I have straight hair and wanted the layers cut off so that my hair was one length. Vera listened and was thorough getting everything perfectly even and not cutting too much off. I came in with washed hair. She applied a serum before she cut 6 inches off. She was going to blow dry it, but I preferred to let it air dry. She has a strong accent, but there weren't any issues with a language barrier. She has a kind, generous disposition. She didn't talk during the cut which I appreciated so much: it showed me how focused, dedicated, and professional she was. It looks like my family found a great, no-nonsense place to get our hair cuts. This was a solid positive experience (unlike the last place I went when they gave me layers with thinning scissors after I asked for a straight across cut). I highly recommend VERA!

This review goes out to Farnaz. After my hairstylist of 10 years moved to Colorado I struggled to find a trustable hair stylist in the Bay Area, until I met Farnaz. If I could give her more stars I would! I came to her for a haircut, she took her time washing my hair. I didn't feel rushed at any point throughout the service. She's was super professional and personable, we had some great conversations. I've gone to a ton of hair stylists trying to find a good one and I can say that she is truly passionate about her work. She isn't money focused like majority of the stylists in the area who will quote you unreasonable prices for a service. I was extremely happy with the outcome of my hair cut. She gave me a nice blowout at the end and added some serum to my ends which made my hair feel silky smooth and healthier than ever. You guys if you're looking for a quality hair cut book with Farnaz!

I come here every month for a haircut. I get my haircut by Farnaz.She is really professional, and takes her customers seriously. She cut and styled my hair better than any barber before. Make sure to book her way ahead of time since she is a popular Barber!
