This vet clinic is so great! Highly recommend, your animal will be in great care with them. They are very professional and friendly. Shout out to Ivan, he was great and helped me with my cat and showed me how to brush her teeth properly.

I took my dog Scamp in for diarrhea he was experiencing while we were in SLO. Dr. Riedel examined him rectally because she has seen cases over the last few years with dogs that had anal gland cancer. She could feel something on the right side. Thank goodness she took that extra step. We were returning home to Maryland a week later so we set up an appointment with our vet to be seen immediately and sure enough he had cancer in the anal gland. He was in the early stages and we are hoping that Dr Chand was able to get all of it. We will be forever grateful for all Dr. Riedel did for Scamp. If we lived in SLO, she would definitely be our vet!

If I could give 10 stars I would! We moved to the Central Coast in January. I was having such a difficult time finding a knowledgeable AND compassionate Vet for my little fur Baby Piggy LaRue. Piggy has a lot of health problems to say the least, and after going through 4 other Vets here, I was beginning to regret our move. Then..we found Animal Care Clinic!
Dr. Cherry is such a genius! She did for Piggies Skin issues what no one else could do. She actually took time to listen and treat Piggy as an individual case. She never made us feel rushed. Piggy has made more improvement under Dr.Cherry's care, in just a couple of months, than she had in the year prior!
We have been back for 3 follow ups since then! I really appreciate how they follow up!
THEN!! Also, Dr. Evan's to the rescue for Behavior modification! Piggy started getting scared when I left. She would impose self harm from anxiety. It was horrible! I could no longer leave the house and had to hire a Pet sitter, which, as I'm sure some of you know, can be QUITE expensive. It was costing $70 just for me to be able to go to the grocery store once a week.
Dr. Evans is AMAZING!!! Honestly, I'm still shocked with how far Piggy has come thanks to her guidance! If I used to even open the garage door piggy would panic! Now I'm out there haha grocery shopping with NO Pet sitter! Wohoo!
If you have a pup in need who has separation anxiety or behavioral issues, please go see Dr. Evans. She has changed our lives!
Also, the Staff at Animal Care Clinic is (Extremely) patient. I must bug them with questions at-least 1-2 times per week and they are always kind. I find that a lot of reception at other vets in the area...were not so warm. The ACC is lovely from front desk to back office!
If you are new to the area, or trying to find a new Vet! Please just go here and don't waste time like I did :-) They are Big Hearted, Knowledgable, patient and truly care for your Fur babies!

They take such good care of our reactive dog, Bogey. He needs sedation for the more demanding procedures, and while he is manageable, they shave him down and get where he won't let me trim like his front paws.

Animal Care Clinic is a very well run clinic. Have worked with them since 2014. The staff are all very knowledgeable and compassionate, even after what must be some pretty long and rough days. I appreciate their responsiveness to calls and emails and their accessibility. Would highly recommend Animal Care Clinic.

Very grateful I found this vet! It's been the only vet I've been to (and I've been to many) where I feel like they legitimately care about your pet, and treat them like your baby and not just an animal.I took my cat to several vets, including the ER, for a bad UTI. They charged me like $85 office visit checkup at every place, and did the routine checkup. ACC was the ONLY place that found out my cat had several broken teeth! The other vets never caught on! They also immediately saw that she had arthritis. No other vet had been able to tell me this, and ACC caught on from the first visit and immediately came up with a plan to help her.Got her teeth fixed, put her on some arthritis meds, and my baby's doing better than ever! Eating well and jumping around. Surgery was scary, but they explained everything to me well and made me feel safe. She's also got kidney disease, and they've been performing checkups and her results have vastly improved!They're really thorough and take their time with your baby, and take their time explaining things to you too. Staff has always been SUPER friendly and helpful, and every Dr. I've worked with has been super knowledgeable and thorough. Very grateful I found this clinic, I REALLY trust them with my kitty!

Clean and spacious facility. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Both of our dogs have been seen here multiple times now. We feel confident the veterinary is helping keep us on the best and least expensive path to our dogs health. We've had vet offices that truly seem to try to run every test they can think of when our dog comes in for a little sebaceous cyst. Not this official. They keep it specific and pointed towards what is bothering your pup. Very much appreciated.

My cat is well fed. And indoor. He woke the other day with a sneeze / stuffy nose. I called after 2 days, Vanessa was amazing. She was attentive and got us in same day. Ivan was super respectful, compassionate and well educated. And the Dr Barbere was fabulous and outstanding with educating us on what is best for our feline. He got what was needed there, and we are home and he seems alot better.Thank you animal care clinic ♡- Q , Tina
