I love lush and all the products Lush has to offer. But I am really disappointed with my visit today.. one of the employees was super rude and short with me.. seemed like she just wanted me to leave. The other employees were super sweet but the one that was rude to me and checked me out on the register really made my visit a not so good one. I asked if I could get a sample of a face scrub but she was really snarky with me and I just said never mind and I left.

Went to San Luis Obispo Ca store today. Can't praise the 2 employees that were working there enough. So helpful and nice. Amazing customer service. I will be telling all my friends and family about this location. Thanks again.

Very helpful and friendly staff at this location. They answered all my questions and gave a bath bomb demo for my kids. I plan to shop here again when I’m back in the area.

I hung out with two young ladies working the store--and, boy, those are great saleswomen!!!!!! I came with a problem (packing light) and they delivered a solution (Rose argan massage bar). The samples are more than generous--and I felt like a kid in a candy store!

My friend I were here for potential christmas gifts, smelling products and looking at the displays. However we were followed around and stared at by who i’m assuming is the manager. He asked once if he could help and I just responded “No”. He continued to stare while we looked around. Made me extremely uncomfortable and monitored.

I recently had an amazing experience at Lush thanks to one of their outstanding associates. They took the time to show us all the wonderful products and gave detailed explanations about each one. What truly stood out was how passionately they shared Lush's core values and what the brand has to offer. Their knowledge and enthusiasm made our visit incredibly enjoyable and informative. We put together such a nice gift for our friends I Highly recommend seeking them out for an exceptional Lush experience!

I recently visited Lush, and I must say, my experience was fantastic! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and an inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the products, taking the time to explain the benefits of various items and helping me find exactly what I needed!
What really stood out to me was the personalized attention I received. The associates were attentive without being pushy, allowing me to explore and enjoy the products at my own pace. I felt valued as a customer, and their enthusiasm for the brand was contagious!
The store was beautifully organized, making it easy to navigate and discover new favorites. I left with not only great products but also a smile on my face, thanks to the wonderful customer service. I highly recommend visiting Lush if you're looking for quality products and an exceptional shopping experience!

We just had my daughter’s 9th birthday party at Lush and it was more than I could have expected. Jess was incredible with the girls and they had so many fun activities planned and tons of goodies to take home. Would definitely recommend for parties!

I didn’t ask her name but one of the staffs who is fairly “new” working at LUSH in San Luis Obispo has no sympathy for customers’ situation at all. She shouldn’t work there.I purchased a product a while back at LUSH in San Luis Obispo and the product became moldy or extremely oily before it’s expired. I reached out to Chat Customer Support asking for exchange, however, they were unable provide the resolution as I did not have the receipt. Then I was advised to bring it to the Store for exchange instead without receipt. I was aware that the product was about to be expired. The chat support told me it’s ok to bring it to the store even after it’s expired. I specifically asked the question especially because I don’t often drive to San Luis Obispo where the store is located. If they told me to bring before it’s expired, I would have.I brought it to the store today after few months after I communicated with the chat support and explained the situation to one of the employees. The product was being decomposed into fluid and solid parts, so it all looked watery and the amount seems to be less. Soon after she opened the container, she gave me an unpleasant look and said “I mean, this has been used. It’s almost gone” as if I was trying to be malicious.It’s a facial hydration cream that cost me around $30, fairly inexpensive. I reported it as I felt LUSH should be aware that there is a defect product, which possibly might have had other customers affected. I would want to know if I were the business owner who sells products used for face.Long story short, the staff whom I spoked to handled very unprofessionally and ended up saying “here, this is the replacement product. You can have it” without showing sympathy for my situation whatsoever. She pushed me to take the replacement product and left. As mentioned earlier about the quality control, it’s not the resolution I want especially she seems completely upset. So, I said to her, “You do not seem to agree with my claim at all and treats me like I am trying to get more free products” and she said “Yeah, now you seem that way”. Once she saw me I grabbed the replacement, she walked out to the back office and never returned.When I walked to the cashier to pay other products while holding the replacement, another staff asked me what to do with the replacement product I had in my hand. I explained the situation, then she advised me no exchange is possible once the expiration date is passed as their system won’t allow them to do so, which is way more constructive reason that what the first staff said. So basically they won’t accept exchange once it’s expired, which is not what I was advised during the online chat. She also mentioned the staff I initially spoke to is fairly new to the LUSH… OK, again I am having trouble understanding why she did not even ask others for help while she was talking to me but took off without saying anything instead.I decided not to take the replacement product, and they took the defect product that I had from me.I love LUSH. I order online, and always buy products every time I find a store while visiting different locations (LA, SF, San Diego, etc). Staffs are always super nice and friendly. They also take really good care of my two girls ( 4 and 7 yo) and they love LUSH bath bombs because of the outstanding customer service. I really did not expected to be treated as if I am trying to cause a scene.This is the worst experience and I hope it will be the first and last for me. I will never go to the San Luis Obispo Store ever again.

Normally I LOVE lush I mean I have just about lush everything BUT I just bought this at this store location a few days ago.. just opened it and it looks super crusty and used. Makes me wonder if things are getting returned like this and not checked i don’t know but im disappointed and it’s pretty unsanitary and gross. SLO pls do better..

I always love stopping in a Lush, and this one was above and beyond. The staff was incredibly helpful and fun to talk with. After our purchase, they even gave us excellent recommendations on cocktails and restaurants! Highly encourage you to treat yourself here.
