RIP Mike - my sincere condolences to his family, friends and many customers. I've taken my cars and trucks to Mike for many years. He was kind, affable and provided exceptional, honest service at a reasonable price. He always offered great life advice. Mike will truly be missed. Thankfully, the business continues. I've had a couple issues with my 2016 Jeep Wrangler and have had great experiences when taking my vehicle to South Shore Auto Service. They are responsible in price, know what they are doing and committed to getting things right. It's a smaller shop, but very trustworthy. Check them out if you need help with a vehicle issue.

Love this place. Been calling for weeks looking for Mike. Even stopped by. He's not there. Was told he'd be back in 2 weeks. This was over 3 weeks ago. WHERE IS MIKE ??? Is he ok, retired, returning ????

I have been bringing my car to Mike at South Shore Auto for about 5-6 years for smog and repairs. Today, I had my car towed to be looked at, and after 3 hours, Tony said there was nothing he could do. Apparently, my engine blew. After Tony got my car pushed into a parking spot, I asked how much I owed him for his time checking out my car. He said, " Nothing, just get the car out of here." In a rude tone. I asked why was he treating me like that? I started to cry. I was upset about my car already but then to be told get it out of here, like I had done something bad? No. Mike would have never treated me like that. Mike is always compassionate when I'm stressed out about my car breaking down or the cost of repairs. I have never dealt with Tony before and will never do so sgain.

Mike is the BEST! Friendly, funny and not into upselling. He did a pre-purchase inspection on my truck for $80 when I was in a pinch. And he was serious about making sure my smog history miles lined up with what was on the odometer; glad he was looking out for me. Thanks Mike!
