We have been customers at FRB for nearly 5 years, this is the best bank we have ever had. The team at the SB branch is fantastic! Its not just the service, they truly care, they build a relationship. My 2 year old likes going to bank because of the people (and cookies)! Banking is not a thing I usually write a review about, because most of the time what determines a good institution is interest rates, lending etc. Don't get me wrong FRB does well in these departments but what keeps me here is the personal touch, the kind and caring staff, the way they treat every customer whether they have $2 or $20M. This is by far the best bank in Santa Barbara.

Excellent Bank with a friendly staff. I needed a business trust account and they were able to provide me everything that I needed. The banking experience they give is unlike anywhere else I’ve been and the homemade cookies are excellent!

I refinanced my home here in Santa Barbara with the help of Karin Napel at First Republic Bank. I'm still working from home due to the coronavirus, so unfortunately I never had the chance to meet her. Nonetheless, Karin was able to provide me with a very competitive loan and was exceptionally helpful and patient in guiding me through the somewhat tedious process of securing it. Every time that I emailed her with a question (and there were many...), she would answer almost immediately. I found Karin through a friend who had recently closed on a jumbo loan from First Republic. She recommended Karin to me, and I'm so glad that she did!

I love this bank, too. It's a bank where everyone (literally) knows your name! I don't know how they do it, but they do. They great you by name as you walk in the door, and I only do one "in person" visit there every two months. And they serve home-baked cookies all day long. -- Lots of good service "extras" with these people.

i love this branch of my favorite bank! everyone is super friendly and they make banking easy and fun, while also being extremely efficient and knowledgeable. LOVE LOVE LOVE this bank!
