Too much fun! Especially if you loves you some pickles! The "pickle back" is a unique must! Convenient to the Lobero Theater. One of those bars where you can actually have a conversation.

The former Jimmy's Oriental is now a little dive bar with a new menu. Swung in for happy hour with decent drink and app discounts. The Reuben egg rolls we're tasty and the beers were cold!

Great locals bar with a dive-y feel. It's a little bit off State St so you have to go a little out of your way to get there, but its worth making the detour. Drinks are great and service is fast. Food is also amazing. Definitely get the Ruben egg rolls - you won't be disappointed. Fried rice and Asian chicken salad is also pretty bomb.

Great drinks, food, service and atmosphere! This former Chinese restaurant has a dark, dive bar vibe with red lighting and nostalgic decor, but the food and drinks are creative and top notch. The burger and reuben egg rolls were amazing. Cocktails are fantastic - we had the horni marg, the mai tai and the Oaxaca old fashioned. None were sweet, all were perfectly balanced. Our server Catherine was friendly, quick and knew the menus (drinks & food) well. She works Thursdays and Saturdays. We will definitely be returning.

Officially my favorite place in Santa Barbara. Love the original “Jimmy’s Oriental Gardens” decor. Katherine and Darcy (sorry if either misspelled) provided attentive, genuinely friendly, and overall outstanding service. Frickles + Pickletini were the best I’ve ever had. Mozz nuggs were also perfectly fried. As a Chicago transplant, I was even impressed with the delicious Italian beef. I had high expectations for this place and they exceeded them. So so impressed!!!

Old-school, dimly-lit, bar and booth cocktail bar, dense with atmosphere. Make new friends while sitting on vinyl cushioned stools at the bar, or join old friends in a booth. The cocktails include distinctive takes on traditional mixes such as the Negroni and Old Fashioned, plus signature concoctions - all with a kick. We didn’t try the food but the menu was extensive. A place for locals and visitors but missed by most tourists as it’s a block away from the State Street tourist traps. The service is unpretentious, welcoming and classy.

Drinks - 100% strong and tasty Culture - original remenant of the Ol Chinatown from the late 1800s. Service - top notch. I'm not even offended when the waitress doesn't hear me cause she checks in on us regularly. Recommend the DTF, Mai Tai, and of course, the Pickletini. The Smitty Burger was delicious!
